Calm down, Rose. For starters, only eleven people have voted. I did a poll on here once, and Biden had quite a few more. Here's the thing. I really do think there is a "silent" block of voters that support Trump. They may be the majority, they may not be. There's quite a few people I know who don't really discuss politics, or like to get involved in them, but who are Trump supporters. This could easily be the case on this site. The main ones participating in this poll are going to be the ones already active in the politics section. I may be wrong, but I think the majority of those are left leaning.
On a national scale, I really have no doubt Trump will win.
I'm curious why you have no doubt he will win? He squeaked out a victory last time, and I'm not aware of any indications that he is massively more popular this election then he was last election.

Now its poor form if you go shouting rhetoric like "free money"or "Bad deal"but can't explain exactly how it was a bad deal. That usually means you are parroting a Trump piece of propaganda which, for the most part, is not reliant on any evidence. You surely know what I mean - things like Mexico is paying for your wall....or advising people to ingest hydroxychloroquine contrary to medical advice or research.... or for that matter ingesting bleach.

Never said anything like this.

My position on coronavirus is that this first generation of vaccines are not going to be what people are expecting...they will not prevent contagion or infection...and only marginally protect against getting Ill or permanent damage.

There are some antivirals that look more promising.

But these vaccines that everyone has their hopes on are not going to be all that wonderful.

In the meantime I believe that the brain damage (symptoms of losing taste and smell) and kidney damage (chronic fatigue) as well as heart, liver, and lung damage needs to be avoided by social distancing and wearing masks by everyone.

Otherwise there is no cure...no treatment...no medical conspiracy whatsoever.

Wait, wait, wait. Weren't you the one arguing on another thread that the US is a republic and that the votes don't actually elect the president?
Okay, wiseguy, maybe you don't know that in 48 of the states, you win the electoral votes by winning the popular vote in that state. Technically, you are not really voting for the president, but for electors to elect the president of your choice. Go learn the basic election process, dude.

I sort of thought that that was basic common knowledge though.

Not necessarily...
It can be done by precinct which can be controlled by gerrymandering...
Popular vote does definitely help...but successful gerrymandering can void that. Both political parties slice up districts to either water down votes or concentrate them.

As of the moment he's a private citizen. There isn't much he can do except give speeches. But he also has a long history of governing that people can refer to, not to mentioned a detailed policy platform.

Let me rephrase that. Why would anyone want to vote for him?

Because they agree with his policy choices and/or think Trump is doing a bad job and would prefer somebody else to try.

I think your president made it abundantly clear that he supported treatment regimes that lacked any medical evidence. And just in case we didn't understand his uninformed diatribes, he repeated himself - numerously.

But look if you believe all he says well - fine it's your country and your vote. I'm merely pointing that on so many key issues which are objective measures of presidential performance, he has failed.

I'm also pointing out that when YOU counter an argument, to make an attempt to provide actual evidence and not parrot his blatherings.

Besides the presidential polls and the ridiculous media, I don't think there is any indication Trump is losing. I mean seriously. Enthusiasm is through the roof with Trump. And Biden can hardly leave his basement, talks like he has no clue what he's talking about, and his supporters don't seem the least bit excited about him. I'm probably at least 95 percent sure Trump will win. Maybe bigger than last time.

Then why was trump hedging his bet by suggesting legislatures in red states (that he might loose) name electors that will vote against the wishes of the popular vote? There were numerous reports that said that there was nothing in the constitution preventing a red state legislature from appointing electors that will vote for trump even though he looses the popular vote to Biden.

Report: Trump Campaign Actively Discussing Radical Measures To Bypass Election Results

"The Atlantic report claims that sources in the Republican Party at the local and national levels confirm that “the Trump campaign is discussing contingency plans to bypass election results and appoint loyal electors” in red battleground states."

"The chairman of the Pennsylvania Republican Party says, on the record, that he has discussed appointing loyal electors with the Trump campaign: “It is one of the available legal options set forth in the Constitution.”
