Most that have happened here in this part of the world where I'm from have made me more convinced of St. Augustine's later views on humanity. Not really surprised if only the very few would enter the Pearly Gates.

You know, watching the way that people have utterly rejected the Gospel, Christ, the Church, and the Bible, is the one thing that in the back of my mind makes me think that perhaps Universalism is a pipe-dream at best. I am hoping for it, I hope that it is true, but things like the absolutely hideous stubbornness of men and women and their ferocious love of sin makes me doubt.

I hope our God's love, power, and especially wisdom (i.e. finding a way to bring the most hardened to repent, either here or later) are beyond anything I can imagine. Imagining hell is a terrible thing.
