Well yes, not immersing yourself in news all day does actually make the problems go away or get better. You're not infecting yourself with all the stress, anxiety, negativty, gloom-and-door, paranoid conspiracy theories, and the like, over things which have little to nothing to do with you or your life. Already you are anxious that "communism" is taking over and we have practically lost all of our freedoms, and just where have you been hearing all of these gloom-and-doom messages? Probably not from any sources that are edifying or uplifting.
More often than not, we create problems for ourselves, and when we stop doing that, there is no actual problem.
