I'm glad you brought that up because that is proof that God doesn't mean much to the rest of the world as He used to. Christians are getting murdered for their beliefs. It's all very sad and tragic.
I guess it sort of is like a civil war even though I really don't think the military are involved,.. only because they won't let Trump send them in.

No I never said that. I just don't understand why anybody would want to. It's not our nation's fault that we're in this mess,.. it's the people in it. Mostly the kind of people who run the government.

Well, yeah they were men of the age, Christianity was, at least, imbued into them.
But remember, they were also challenging the “divine right” of George III to continue to rule.
In effect, telling the Monarch to prove “God’s on the King’s side”.
That there, takes a “faith“ that’s is lacking today!
The faith of good, honest hard working AMERICANS can do anything together but nothing apart.

So what if the RIGHT think they own the flag more than the LEFT! Does the left have a passion for the nation or don't they? If they do there's no reason to dishonour the flag. If it means something different to you then does for the right fair enough but it is the flag of the country. If you love the country you won't destroy it's symbol.

She intentionally took children of another race (black children) into her home to raise them as her own, and give them a better life than they would otherwise have had...
It's not an example of what an "ultra-right" racist would do so it's incorrect to group her as such..
