nope. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits employment discrimination based on religion. that's nice but you claimed "you can be charged with abuse or harassment" this teacher ignored school policy, ignored direct instructions from his supervisor and ignored the simple request of a student on how they want to be addressed. if there as any abuse or harassment it was on the part of the teacher. He wasn't abused he was fired for insubordination.

At all workplaces, in Ontario, if someone feels harassed or if their has been violence.. they can activate the "Workplace violence and harassment policy". This activates the Human resource management department and you can be terminated.
This is in my country.. I would imagine in the US too.

So, if I am even talking about my view on trans gender, abortion, gay marriage or LGBTQ.. and someone is offended.. or if I post on social media... I can be terminated.. if they pursue it to this end and it is found that I am against company policies...

if you violate company policy and speak at work and saying bigoted and disgusting things about black people then you should be terminated. Same if you re saying hateful things about Jews. Saying horrible things about gays doesn't make the hate OK

If...... you... cannot understand that Christian values, Christian rights... truth itself.. is not an endangered species... then enjoy the bliss of your ignorance.

There is no end of complaints and fear mongering about loss of freedoms for Christians and the erroding of rights and the persecution of Christians but none of that is real.
