Still feeling well, it is so good to be able to enjoy the weather, to feel thankful and alert, with no depressive thoughts bringing darkness. i wish any one who is depressed to feel like this. i know that depression will be back but it is still a nice break i'm getting.

The best part is that i'm not manic, i don't have racing thoughts, and i don't have a thousand desires i have to satisfy. i love Jesus so much for setting me free from all of that. He promised that building with His loving truth would work and it has delivered what He promised. So good to be able to share the harvest with our Lord now.

The good time has left and i'm struggle depression again. It began Wednesday afternoon and is still heavy going.

Well i know that depressive bouts will keep coming like they have for many years now, luckily i cycle now when they had me on mood stabilisers i never cycled but was always feeling rock bottom, this is a lot better as long as i don't cycle too fast for then i get confused.

Hoping everyone else is doing okay? :wave:

Thanks brother, much appreciated. i'm counting my blessings things have been much worse. So far i kept the negativity out of my heart, it is an uphill battle it seems at times, but i know Jesus will get me through, He always does, as long as i keep my eyes peeled on Him, i'm safe.

Interestingly depression brings me the voices of my accusers loud and clear i must be close to their abode i reckon when that happens. Which excites me more than anything for i know Jesus will take me away from this place - time and again - but that the devil and his henchmen will be stuck in that dreadful place forever. This gives me much sanctification. For God is unbelievable just doing that, seeing they themselves build those torture chambers, now those damned dungeons can serve them forever and serve them their own created misery. So much hope and praise to God in me when i ponder on that.

I am struggling with addiction of playing Go(Weiqi). Self Control is good virtue but addiction is sin. May the Lord help me overcome the demons who draws me into addicton.

i found that the best thing to do when addiction strikes is to go to Jesus when addiction calls and share our inner reality with Jesus. All the pushy demanding feelings you might get, you deliver to Jesus, and Him to make you stronger than all of that, and thank Him for grace when you fall. Simply keep doing that.

The more you build a relationship with Christ the addicted one, the easier it is to break with the objects of your addiction. Often time the 'good' we get out of engaging in our addiction, Jesus can give us without the substance or object of our addiction.

Loving Jesus for His grace, gentleness and patience with us, is what breaks us away from our addictions, more than any cold turkey could ever achieve.

So take Jesus into your heart where addiction calls Yusuph, and keep taking Him there every time addiction calls and His loving truth will set you free in no time.

Peace. Thank you for your prayer(Especially thank Jeshu). I am sorry recently I fell into addiction of playing Go on web .I find the essential problem is that I don’t want to talk with my father. We quarreled about the question that whether the Universe was made and designed by God’s wisdom or not. And I find Satan was placing hatred and hardness without pity into my heart. I acknowledged my sins to my father, hoped I would commit the similar sins less later. and I get up late. I feel guilty. I need a trade with the Lord, my sins be given to Him, and His Rightousness be given to me. I need an addiction to be united in Him.

Yom Kippur(the Day of Atonement) is coming. Wish the Lord would not blot out my name in the book of Life for my sins. Next Sunday in October in my local church I will preach. They give me a topic about Faith. I want to talk to them about the “Faith” which has a meaning “Amen”(True) from Hebrew word Root, in a way of Paul(Saul)’ theology. May the Lord protect my little faith.

Good to see you visiting here Yusuph, please let love for God fill you up. The more love for God rules your heart the better you will be able to discuss faith with your dad and with others and the more you will be able to fight your sins.

Please accept forgiveness and keep accepting forgiveness. God's grace is His love. The more of His love you get in your heart the more His love will work in your heart and transform you according to His likeness. So eat God's grace Yusuph and let His Spirit fill you to the brim.

Give Jesus all your guilt, shame, worry and fears. Keep doing that and ask Him to teach you need to heed them but only heed His voice of loving truth.

Hi Yusuphhai,

It's good to hear from you. I know it's hard dealing with addiction and I was addicted to the internet not long ago and still struggle with it sometimes. Prayer is really the only thing that will overcome it and we need to draw closer to God through his scripture which will strengthen your resolve in your struggles so we live more in the spirit and less in the flesh. I hope & pray the Lord gives you insight and the power to overcome Yusuphhai.

Also try to go somewhere by yourself and let go of your thoughts and spend some quiet time with God as he works best in a still mind.

God be with you in your struggles Jeshu and may he give you the strength to ignore the accusers. They also accuse me when I'm down and make me feel condemned which hurts me deeply, but we have to keep moving forward in Christ and not give up. Knowing the truth of scripture is the only way to keep the evil one away. We have to suffer this world for only a short time which will make the glory of eternal life all the more incredible.

Thanks for those words of truth. The truth of scripture keeps the lie away and that is through God's love for speaking the truth without love doesn't help any one anything.

i protect myself with the truths of Scripture without the truths of Scripture i be bait for those wild animals. If i had only realised early what sin causes in our lives, it brings death and destruction. Yet the love of Christ brings new life, eternal life, i don't have to wait for the glory i find in him, He is the glory of my heart. i love Jesus more than i love my own life.

With Him on board something good comes out of bad. Such is a marvel in my eyes.

Depression is a considerable foe but with Jesus it can produce good fruits and that is all that counts.

i never deserved Him as my Lord but my Lord He is. And the things He brought me are the best weapons to fight depression, love, long suffering, endurance and patience, i always ran short on these myself, but in Him i find my completion.

i will always love him for getting my out of the pit. (how lucky can you be knowing Him a depressed person?)

Jesus is truly all the things He, and the word of God, says He is.

Feeling a little better today, still drained and very flat, but not in such a negative frame of mind. The grand kids are coming up after, and tomorrow again, and other set, so i hope i will feel a little better.

i already know now what game they will be playing. Ark Survival Evolved, they have been playing this game close to a year now and still always play it while they literally got hundreds of games to choose from.

How is every one else going? :wave:

Glad you're feeling better today. I do hope you are eating well and getting adequate rest? Do you take a vitamin B supplement to help pick you up a bit? When we are struggling we can deplete the vitamin B in our bodies leaving us flat, maybe also get a series of vitamin B12 injections every 2 weeks for 6 weeks to help build you up. Vitamin B is needed for proper function of our nervous system and brain. Anyway just a suggestion and I hope your health continues to improve.

I'm having a good day today, though my head feels a little funny. I'm going for a nice long walk soon along the coast so I will take in the scenery and enjoy the outdoors.

Yes i have been taking B supplements but have stopped taking them because i suffered from nausea every morning. Maybe i have to use less instead of more.

About those shots if i do indeed have a deficiency of B12 then such might be useful. i think the doctors did test me for this in the past.

Still feeling down. The grand kids came up both Wednesday (3) and Thursday (6), it did help to combat the depression, but i still didn't feel well, today is not any better.

i have this heavy feeling in my gut, like something dreadful is about to happen. The negativity seeks a constant way into my thinking world. It is by far the biggest battle, to keep that out. So often i want to agree with my feelings, for i'm really feeling like that, but i know i will only get worse and not better. It is like floating on the sea, dying from thirst, with plenty of water all around. So tempting!
