Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done. 14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: 15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: 16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) 17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
This was in Samaria, it was not at the beginning of the commission at Pentecost, or when the Gentiles received Salvation and both Baptisms.
Then there were those of the Baptism of John that Paul laid hands on and they received the Holy Spirit.
Then even before Calvary John the Baptist said I baptize you with water unto Salvation, but He that comes after me will Baptize you with fire and the Holy Ghost,
Jesus said basically the same thing.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are also mentioned in Gods Word.
You simply cannot find a reasonable Bible teaching to deny the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
We indeed receive the Holy Spirit up on Salvation, but are not Filled with the Power God has set before us.
We can find this with the Apostles in the Book of John.
John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: 23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
Jesus commanded them to stay in Jerusalem, because they had not
been filled With The Holy Spirit in power.
They recieved salvation by the resurrection of Christ from the Dead.
Acts 1:2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: 4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
So not only the Apostles, but at Pentecost there were many.
The Gentiles, and the whole of Samaria received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.
There were others as well that were not the orginal 11.
It was not limited to Jews.
it was not in Corinthians with the verse when that which is perfect has come.
you cannot meet the completed canon face to face as Paul says then he will know all things.
The Context is when Christ comes back and we meet Him face to face.
Lastly the Baptism did not go away with the Apostles, because the Bible does not say that, and many others received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
We are still living in the Church age until Christ redeems the Church on His return.
At that time the Holy Spirit will go up along with us.

I have been Baptized in the Holy Spirit, all I will say is you know it when it happens.
A person will be with the Lord in Heaven upon Salvation, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is not a mandate for Salvation.
It is a deeper relationship with God, and quickens your Spirit.
