For another, there are lots of families in the world that have two males or two females as the parent groups.

If you believe in God and His Word, you will see that he set up marriage to be between one man and one woman. Not between two males or two females, or any other combination. The Bible condemns homosexuality.

The "republican is for the rich, democrat is for the poor" seems to be one of those things that I'm not sure why people still bring up. Sort of like when people start quibbling over the positions on racial issues from the two major parties, by bringing up what their positions were back in the 1950's.

A more realistic descriptor would be:

"Republicans are for the rich in industries A, B, and C"
"Democrats are for the rich in industries X, Y, and Z"

The richest states voted Democrat. The poorest states voted Republican.
