Life isn't mundane… it's difficult to show this.

But this Effect is showing people.
How?
How do you get to the idea that "life is mundane"... and why would this effect mean it is not?

mundane
adjective
of this earthly world rather than a heavenly or spiritual one.

this Effect simply transcends this world
Yes, I know what this term means. And posting the definition doesn't answer my question.

But again... all your sources only speak of "the earthly world". Earthly worlds that are different from this one, but nonetheless earthly. There isn't a hint of "heavenly" or "spiritual" worlds... and, seriously, I would think it very weird if you consider this "Effect" a sign of spirituality.

This is why I speak to them in parables:

Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand.

Matthew 13:13-15

Yeah, you're still avoiding showing us anything to help your claims.

The Mandela effect is simply flawed memories. Nothing more. You've got nothing to show it's anything but that, and you're outright refusing to provide any evidence.

People who speak of this Effect… tend to be spiritual.
Romantic, perhaps. 'Many Worlds' quantum mechanics doesn't support your fantasy; what you're talking about is a form of magical thinking, exotic or mystical explanations for 'mundane' everyday events.

If you were really interested in explanations, you'd study the brain, gain some insight into the mechanisms and function of memory and your own thoughts and behaviour, and share in the amazing discoveries that have been made in recent years. But no, that's too much like hard work - far easier to make up magical stories.

Which is quite the opposite of what you said just one post earlier.
Then it was the "Effect" is showing people that "life is spiritual".
Now it is people being spiritual "speaking of this Effect".

You keep falling back to this... to "faith". And you keep ignoring the basic problem with that... that, very obviously, people can have "faith" in something that is wrong.

With you, it is never facts, the discovery of facts, the study of facts that determine "truth"... it is always your worldview, your "faith".
You have no other way to determine "truth". I have repeatedly asked you... and you simply ignored it. You had to ignore it... because in your worldview, there is no alternative to "faith".

Your "faith" determines what is your "truth"... and your faith only. To keep that up, you have to deny the very existence of "faith" that contradicts yours. That, too, is part of your worldview: that only your "faith" is real "faith".

This is a very lonely position to hold, and it comes as no surprise that you have to invent other, new, "non-mundane" concepts to make up for this loneliness. Be it "transcendence", be it "spirituality"... you need these ideas to fill the fundamental emptiness of your own worldview. You need to invent your own reality, because you deny the existing one.

And in this worldview, you have deliberately discarded any means to either defend this worldview, or counter others. You don't have anything left but yourself.

A very lonely world you live in.

Another of his (and not only his) views that amaze me: that this world isn't big enough, not special enough, not fantastic enough. That it is "mundane"... which in their view is a derogatory term.

That this world, in its complexity, functionality, all-encompassing connectedness, is "miraculous" in its own way, in every way... they don't see it.
That their world, which is just an expansion of our reality, is just as "mundane" as they lament this world is... they can't see it.

I can understand it. Not being awestruck with existence the whole time is just... human. Being bored is human. Making stuff up to amuse ourselves is human.

Heck, even to deny reality and replace it with fantasy is human.

But it never ceases to amaze me just what kind of stuff people come up with and declare "miraculous".

I told my wife about this "Mandela Effect" and how people misremembered New Zealand being northeast of Australia when it's actually southeast of Australia and that means that they actually shifted here from a parallel universe. She said, "But wait... I thought New Zealand was to the northeast of Australia..."

So I called her an imposter and an invader, told her she wasn't the woman I married and kicked her out of my house!

Just to clarify…

Each timeline is our Universe, merely one choice different…

Shifting from this to a not very different timeline.

And that's why changes are noticed. People are the same, not imposters…
Multiple timelines require multiple people to inhabit them. Even if they are exact clones down to the atom, they are not the same person. The fact that the imposter has different memories makes her a distinct person from the woman she replaced when she shifted in.

Just to clarify, not only does the 'Many Worlds' formulation of quantum mechanics mean that no communication or interaction between the 'worlds' is possible, but choices don't branch the wavefunction, so there won't be universes different by one choice.*

*unless you deliberately use a 'universe splitter' to branch the wavefunction and decide in advance what you will choose to do for each outcome, then do whatever you decided to do depending on the result it returns.
