We already know you want to insert god as the cause of evolution and believe that the EES gives you room to do that.
Ah now we see the true reason for all your attacks and unsupported assertions. If that's the case then why do I support common ancestry as the SET includes?

You missing the point. Your original point was how my belief influence how I saw science. You are derailing things away from what we were talking about which you often do so that you can attack the person. The point I am making is that theistic evolutionists do allow their beliefs to influence their science in trying to reconcile evolution or the ToE to their beliefs. They change the science of the ToE for example where mutations are random in the ToE to God intervening and making mutations positive so that life can evolve.

The article states that this is one of the positions of theistic evolution. The other point you are missing is that not all theistic evolutionists support the ToE as you see it or as the MS sees it and not all theists are Christians. I mean the even mainstream ToE is not completely agreed upon let alone how different theistic evolutionists see things. You are restricting things down to how you see things and not the wide variety of views for both evolution and theistic evolution.
Haha, no.

Do you believe ID?
Not in the same way IDist do why. Don't they deny common ancestry? I am probably more along the lines of Francis Collins now with his Biologos. IDist gets right into proving God through ID and science and reject natural processes. Whereas I don't reject natural processes out of hand. They can be part of God's way of how he does things. In fact, I have said at the end of the day I don't really care how evolution works as it is totally within a person's faith to accommodate the MS. It would just be how God allowed life to come about and still a tool that God created and used.

A person cannot reject natural processes or the science that goes with that as this is part of our reality. Our reality is about cause and effect and the mechanism that drives this. It is not a supernatural realm so we have to understand things that way. The only distinction I make here is that in using science to understand the natural world we should be able to see and connect this back to God. Indirectly with design but more intuitively.

I see, my assesments stand.

No, you get that when you are in the wrong.
The problem is you never explain how I am wrong in that instance. It's easy to keep making assertions someone is wrong even when the evidence may clearly show the opposite. The person never has to justify their position and therefore their argument really has no weight and therefore their argument is defeated.

That's dismissive and a poor basis for arguments. It's just your excuse for not engaging because you know you are wrong.lol

No, I engage with people when it's warranted.
Your posting history says otherwise. The majority of your posts are attacks on people and little on the topic. At least with posters like FrumiousBandersnatch they engage despite their personal views which can be helpful at times in educating people and you never know it may help them change their minds.

So your only goal is to change peoples minds? I.e. preach?

I posted that ages ago so thanks for the Q.E.D.

Stop posting then.
Ah I started the thread and so have a right to contribute. But people who don't participate in the thread in an engaging way and not in the spirit of the CF should be the ones not participating. You have made your point over and over again. I think it's clear you think I am wrong. So why continue to say the same things attacking the person without elaborating.
