Yet, instead of just titling the thread - "Ruth Bader Ginsburg dies at age 87", and leaving it at that, you add a political component to the title.

What an inspirational woman and what an incredible legacy to leave behind. Her presence on the bench will be sorely missed.

Truly an inspiration for women.

She was a true pioneer. WIthout her work, gender wouldn't be a semi-suspect class and so many discriminatory laws against women would still exist. She really was a brilliant jurist.

What accomplishments are those? I know she has been heralded as a champion of women's rights. But it seems like most of the important stuff for that case was done before her. On the other hand, she has been left leaning bulwark on issues like abortion, so I'm not really sure what conservatives should celebrate about her life other than this is a good manners thing to do as part of our past culture.

Not one to speak evil of the dead, that is a God thing. And I am definately not Him.

I do hope that she was ready to meet her Maker.

I don't know specifically she did in regards to SCOTUS rulings....but she spent a considerable amount of her life dedicated to public service in the highest judicial seat we have.

I think that alone is worthy of recognition and celebration.
