King of Queens
Finished Knives Out; now halfway through Lawrence of Arabia.
I looked at his filmography, and I'm shamed to see Lawrence is his only film I've seen where he plays a leading role. He certainly has enchanted me in his portrayal of T. E. Lawrence.Haven't watched Lawrence of Arabia is ages.
I always liked Peter O'Toole. My favorite film he was in is Lion in Winter which also stars Katherine Hepburn a young Timothy Dalton and, I believe, Anthony Hopkins in his first screen role. Peter O'Toole plays King Henry II of England, Katherine Hepburn is Queen Eleanor, Timothy Dalton is King Philip II (Augustus) of France and Anthony Hopkins is Prince Richard (who will eventually be King Richard the Lionheart)
I don't know why people call her ugly, just because she's a ginger.
A friend of mine is a devotee of Medieval Farm. Very good to see these are accessible without a BBC subscription.Doing a weekend binge of the BBC documentaries Victorian Farm and Edwardian Farm. I’ve seen them before. The series is really good and ideal for history buffs!
