Not exactly. Due to the curvature of the earth, the vertical distance traveled by the falling bullet is very slightly greater than the distance traveled by the falling penny. So the penny will reach ground a tiny bit ahead of the bullet. It will be a small fraction of second difference. But with proper equipment, it could be measured.

Fun fact: incoming meteors do not burn up because of friction, they burn up due to the stagnation temperature of the impinging air stream. The air undergoes adiabatic compression, which causes the temperature to increase.

We are already on the Do Not Call Registry, but "@pple $upport" scammers* kept dialing us anyway. They spoofed different phone numbers each time, so we couldn't just block a single number.

Just add THIS TONE to the beginning of your voice mail greeting message.
Do not answer calls that you do not recognize.
Hearing those tones, the auto-dialer will interpret it as an unassigned number and will remove you from its call list.

*Similar to the IRS/delinquent tax scam.

I see the story, now. The UN has agreed to start using that spelling. I doubt it will catch on in English speaking countries because it uses a letter we don't use.
