I can agree with that, but I also think it behooves the publisher to put an annotation that older manuscripts don't have the verses. It also makes for a more informed reader. It is not just the Mark verses either as there are more verses, so if one strictly uses the KJV or similar translations one will not be properly prepared to discuss scripture in an informed way.

Have to say it:

Go Lightning. Beat the Islanders.

Many would say that the KJV adds verses, not takes them away. I would agree with that as the evidence points to the verses being added later. They don't really change the picture of salvation or the story overall, so that is not impacted.

ESV is a very good translation, CSB and NIV are good for more basic English than the ESV uses.
I've never been that keen on the KJV as a translation, but I have to say I love its traditional language style!

Why he used that phrase to reply?

The Tampa Bay Lightning are in the Stanley Cup playoffs and playing the New York Islanders. He was just saying he is cheering for them to win.

Should I have considerations of any sort?
Why do you use a different edition?

A pastor said: "I use King James version in english and Reina Valera 1960 in Spanish
The others versions remove verses"
The crowd clapped energetically

I think he was mistaken
The ESV is probably among the best if not the best overall modern translation into English. Others I would consider are the NASB and from what I have read so far the CSB. To echo what has already been said the KJV is a fine translation and a monument to 17th century scholarship. As to whether the modern versions remove verses is absurd. The translators of the KJV had a limited number of relatively late NT Greek manuscripts. Where as the ESV is based on not only those manuscripts but also more recent discoveries of even older manuscripts. The older MS do not have the longer readings. There are probably many reasons for this among them altered readings in liturgical books and scribes perhaps thought the liturgical source was better. Who knows why? The most attested to longer readings appear in the footnotes of the ESV and the NASB (and NET I’m told) regardless you have the full text to refer to. you have all the Bible you need. If you want to compare use online sources.

In other words the ESV is just fine. Don’t get side tracked by someone’s opinion.

as a side note, I have been really impressed with the CSB so far as well.

I agree. I think you get the most out of it by reading it aloud. It has a unique flow to the language.

The language is certainly majestic, and adds to the mystery of the scriptures. However, I tend to get "more" out of other translations. My daily is the NRSV and Artscroll right now, those are two of my favorites.
