Does anyone else who suffers from regular pain feel lonely or isolated?
I've had a painful day today and I've noticed a bit of a pattern. When I have days like today, I also tend to feel very lonely. I've talked, texted, and messaged friends but it hasn't helped. I've tried various ways to fill the day but that too hasn't helped (though praying does help to a degree). Unfortunately, none of my friends are able or live close enough for a visit on days like today. Ironically, when I am least able to "entertain" anyone is when I most want human contact. I want a hug or someone to hold my hand or just sit with me and watch a movie/episode....just something. I know it wouldn't make the pain or the issue go away but I think it would make it more bearable mentally and emotionally. Maybe that's asking too much or maybe I'm wrong? I don't know. Does anyone else every feel like that?
