OK, just ask your Muslim friends about Mohamed's CV: Murdering warlord, had sex with a 9 year old, murdered anyone who opposed him, lied and deceived in order to achieve his objectives, died and was buried. You start asking questions like that and see how they react. Ask them why the Koran tells Muslims to murder Jews, Christians and other non-Muslim peoples. The Muslims who carry out these acts are not extremists. They are faithful followers of Mohamed. They are simply following his instructions.

What was the deal not eating with gentiles. Apostle Paul rebuke him for this also.

It was not about racism, it was about righteousness and uncleanliness. Jews were to remain separate and apart from the gentiles and their customs (mostly idolatry). Jews considered gentiles as impure. However, Peter had a vision where God told him that what He had made clean (gentile believers) do not consider unclean.

It was Peter whom Christ liberated from bigotry. I assume he taught others about the New Covenant position too.
