I get it. People are tired of the fighting, the riots, losing friends and family over our political differences. Some speculate the violence and division might calm down with a Biden win. Interesting thought, but not reality based.

It is not Republicans who focus on constantly dividing us by race, gender, rich or poor. Republicans are not the ones full of hate, rooting for a failed economy, more misery, and more deaths in hopes the president might be defeated.

Understand, a Biden presidency would create a far worse outcome than violence or civil unrest.

We have witnessed a four-year temper tantrum by the left. I am reminded of the spoiled toddler who screams, “I hate you,” calls you names, stomps their feet and throws their toys. Often a tired parent doesn’t have the energy to discipline such outrageous behavior or the time to wait it out.

Doing the right thing can be so much harder. But, what happens to a toddler when a parent gives in and doesn’t take a stand? The child will escalate to a new level the next time and every time they don’t get their way. Giving in to an out of control demanding brat never gives way to a more well behaved child.

I experienced first-hand some of this “progressive” temper tantrum we see happening in the U.S. today. I was in D.C. as a Republican delegate to attend President Trump’s acceptance speech on the final night of the RNC Convention.

While leaving the event at the White House, a group of us had to endure constant harassment of vulgar name calling, threats, and (attempted) intimidation by BLM thugs who had taken to the streets. Although our hotel was just across the street from a White House gate, we were forced to walk about 2 miles out of our way to avoid streets and intersections taken over by larger, more organized groups of BLM thugs.

These were not protestors, but trained agitators. Luckily, other than blisters, some liquid thrown in a friend’s eyes, and dodging bikes purposefully riding at us on the sidewalk, we escaped physical injury.

I left the White House event full of the promise of America, inspired. The walk back to the hotel revealed the need to defeat the Marxist direction of the democrat party, leaving me determined.

If Biden is elected, how long before he is pronounced unfit for duty? He's a rather confused man right now, not really having all of his wits about him. Poor guy. I give him three months in office. Maybe he gets 100 days, the traditional measuring mark. Then it's Kamala. And even she will have trouble staying on the revolutionary wave. We're doomed as a democracy. I long thought democracy in America would die with a whimper. Now I think it will go out with a shocked gasp in 2021.

I wish I could give this post five stars.

There is nothing as effective as a close up glimpse of the enemy in action, to restore heart, determination, and vigor to a good general.

They are Oriental Orthodox. The Orientals tend to be pretty weird. The Copts, for example, don't believe the divinity of Christ is in the eucharist, only the humanity - and thus reject the idea of theses. Rejecting Chalcedon leads to oddities. Or at least, Pope Shenouda argued this against the monk Mathew. The Armenian version of the Nicene Creed is very long.

It's going to get very ugly, methinks. I am not looking forward to the post-election situation. Lord knows, the situation now is bad enough, but once this election is over with, we could be in a full-blown civil war. If that happens, I don't expect to survive it, for a number of reasons.

Ugly. I don't see a way to avoid it even if Biden wins. I think that just enables them to go farther. It won't go according to any script, although the admitted trained and committed Marxists at the helm of BLM will try to run some of their scripts. The fans of the guillotine will be setting them up here and there.

Might be time to really consider TEOTWAWKI scenarios where we can remain faithful and constructive. If we don't think this through, we could end up just another mob in reaction to the revolution.

Some say he'll last a year, others say he won't make it to Inauguration Day.

I just hope there is an actual fight because I'd rather die than see this country overrun by Marxist crybaby cucks who simp the devil.

My opinion is a year or less. More like 90 days. And then removal for being unfit for duty. He will at least physically make it to inauguration if elected. What gets weird is if he loses by a little bit and the election is contested. He then has to play president elect in exile for an indeterminate amount of time. I suppose he can do that from his basement though and deep-fake videos can be made.
I just hope there is an actual fight ....
Joe's not gonna fight it. He's already caved to anything that matters.

The way Dems are already laying the groundwork to contest the election, claim it's invalid, and hold votes hostage until they know how many they need to push Joe over the finish line tells me we're in for a mess.

I mean Civil War. I'd rather die fighting to restore America than live under what BLM and Antifa think it should become. I refuse to do that.

Yes if these people get into power we are in trouble. They'll start frog-marching their perceived enemies(hint any political or religious conservative who fails to tow the party line) into concentration camps for re-education or worse. The First, and Second amendment and due process will be gone. This isn't my parents Democrat party or even the party of the Obama years. We need to defeat these radicals at the ballot box while we still can. I can really see the Mark of the Beast coming to the fore. Didn't the book of Revelation talk about people being beheaded for their faith, and these people are wheeling out guillotines?

Me too. Although, there's a lot more of us than there is of them. If push came to shove, we'd win.

Me too. I would rather die fighting than be forced into the Chinese communist re education camp when Biden turns the US over to them. Biden will take our freedoms, take our guns and use them on us, and give the USA to the communist happily.

Kanye and Kim are Armenian - oriental orthodox. It's very different from Chalcedon. Don't think they'll become Roman Catholic, although being Oriental they would consider themselves more Catholic than Rome.

I think they are in the vein of Joel Osteen. They have Armenian roots through their father, Robert Kardashian but little else as far as I’ve seen. Kendall and Kylie have no Armenian roots. But this thread has taken a strange turn.

Just make sure that you receive the Eucharist at every possible opportunity.

At our parish during the weekday masses, we pray for those persons who either die alone, or die without having opportunity to receive the Eucharist, and a last blessing.
After the election I agree that there is no telling what might happen. So it's a good practice to receive as often as possible while it's still possible to do so.

What do they have to do with this thread? I see nothing at all in the OP or the linked article that have anything to do with them? Why them? What do they have to do with a thread about Biden being elected?

Ah, sorry, internet was being slow that day. I put all of this on the wrong thread. It's supposed to be on the one about them possibly becoming Catholic, in which I was trying to say, "probably not."

Most of us don't live and die by what the Kardashians do. Or don't do. As if they were somehow going to be some influence on us.
