Well; whatever it is, the prophesies say there will be a new Temple. Denying them is nothing short of denying the Bible.

We Christians are at present the spiritual Temple on earth, but that is soon to change as is well prophesied.
Then after Jesus has Returned; during the Millennium Zechariah 14:16-21 will be fulfilled.

Lord Jesus taught that all sin is forgivable except blasphemy against the Holy Ghost.
Matt. 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

This is exactly the problem. It calls for animal sacrifices from "Christians" who imagine a millennium. And they condemn themselves even planning to do that even though there is no future millennium in scripture.

If Paul had intended a physical temple in 2 Thessalonians 2:4, he would have used eidóleion or hieros/hieron as he did in the associated Scriptures below.

But he didn't. He used naos, consistent with his intended spiritual meaning, as in the associated Scriptures below.
