If Paul had intended a physical temple in
2 Thessalonians 2:4, he would have used
eidóleion or
hieros/hieron as he did in the associated Scriptures below.
But he didn't. He used
naos, consistent with his intended spiritual meaning, as in the associated Scriptures below.
Who is Paul's best interpreter?
