..the things God put there for our good. On 9/11, there were stories that came out where if it wasn't for.... they would have made it to work on time.
The head of a company survived 9/11 because his son started Kindergarten. Another man was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts. One woman was late because her alarm clock didn't go off on time. Another was late, stuck on the NJ Turnpike because of an accident and his life was spared. One missed his bus. One spilled food on her clothes and had to take the time to change. One's car wouldn't start. One couldn't get a taxi. One went back to answer the house phone. A man who put on a new pair of shoes that morning developed a blister before he got to the Towers, so he stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.

SO.... When you're stuck in traffic, oversleep, miss your ride...all the little things that annoy you...maybe you're exactly where you're meant to be at that very moment by design, cause God loves you.

HARK!

I started thinking along these lines when I was a teenager. I used to like to take long walks in the country.

I had been walking one day in the woods, where it was very quiet. I could hear a car from miles away. I hadn't heard a car for hours.

I started hearing cars as I was coming close to a road. I had reached the road just as, not one, but about five cars, passed me.

I thought to myself, "what prompted five people to leave their homes, traveling varying distances, and all converge with me, just as I happened to be in eye shot?"

I started thinking about the timing in my life. I noticed later that if I moved on the timing of people who were not kadosh; that there seemed to be a greater tendency for things to go wrong. I started praying about it, and separating myself from those people. I've noticed time and again, where as you said, I couldn't find my keys, or this, or that, and I was running late; only to find that had I left on time; I would have been involved in a pileup. I've said many prayers of gratitude over such timings.

YHWH calls us to trust in him. He calls us to be at peace. He calls us not to worry. He calls us to be joyful.

He has shown me the examples from my youth; but I still pray that he gives me the strength, to continue to remember that I'm here on his time.

The chains you hear, see, and feel are a seeming sound of prescesion.
Blessings Always

Sometimes the things that block our path are the things God put there for our good .........
....... and at times, for the good of His people too :)

Hello Visionary, I love this passage, which speaks to this very topic.

Genesis 50
15 When Joseph’s brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, “What if Joseph bears a grudge against us and pays us back in full for all the wrong which we did to him!”
16 So they sent a message to Joseph, saying, “Your father charged before he died, saying,
17 ‘Thus you shall say to Joseph, “Please forgive, I beg you, the transgression of your brothers and their sin, for they did you wrong.” ’ And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father.” And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.
18 Then his brothers also came and fell down before him and said, “Behold, we are your servants.”
19 But Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in God’s place?
20 As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to preserve many people alive.
21 So therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” So he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.”

God bless you!
