COVID-19 in 2018?

I just ran across this and ran through a few pages of search results trying to find where it's being discussed or made the news. Am I missing something here? Has COVID-19 been around this long?

Coronavirus has been around for years. More so the name. This batch we are dealing with world wide is a new version, hence COVID-19. For example SARS is also a coronavirus.

The 19 in covid-19 is supposed to represent it's known introduction into the human population in 2019, I thought.

I almost wonder if they changed the name to "covid-19 testing kit" after the fact, when it's main use was changed to testing for covid-19. Maybe it was originally used to test for something else, but similar? There are other covid diseases out there that covid-19 is directly related to, from what I know. Other than that, I don't really know, and I'm just spitballing.

Is this the only place you've seen with a reference to 2018 and covid-19?

This was all I've found. It was published in 2018 and listed as COVID-19 test kits. I was hoping someone else knew something about it. I can't find anything other than this old listing.

Probably some autogenerated thing. You can also see that the product code (902780) is more general.

I'm just trying to figure out what happened. Actually I'm trying to debunk a conspiracy. Why did they have tariffs for something that didn't exist? Or was something else called COVID-19? This was presented to me and I can't figure out what happened and there is almost no supporting evidence of why.

This was sent to me as proof of a conspiracy. I can't debunk it because of the 2018 date. Plus one guy pointed out that it says 1990 on one of them. I guess what I'm trying to find is a way of responding to this that shows its false or misunderstood. I'm at a loss.

Yes this is the only site. Someone sent me a link and said see I told you. This is all I have to go on. I can't explain it.

you could point out that the wayback machine only has images of this webpage as it existed in 2020.

Though it might be easier to just point out, like many conspiracy theories, this doesn't make a lick of sense.
