What are some of your favorite Bible stories? I like the story of Joseph the Dreamer and his brothers in genesis, the Exodus, Ruth, David and Goliath, David and Abigail, the one about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace, Daniel in the Lion's den, then I like the stories about Jesus Christ,

The Christmas stories, when He was twelve and taught in the temple, His parable about the prodigal son, the four soils, the Good Samaritan, the adulterous woman, the Lord's prayer, forgiving sinful women, healing the blind, raising Lazarus from the dead, healing ten lepers, death on the cross, resurrection.

I never tire of hearing these stories. I'd like to draw the pictures and write down the stories where children can understand them, and also write down the more adult, racy, scandal stories of the Bible for adults, help explain the difficult parts for teens and young people reading the complicated and shocking parts of the Bible.

I like the story of Elijah and the Baal prophets.

I also like these stories of two men who stood strong -
2Sa 23:9-12 And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away: (10) He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil.
(11) And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines. (12) But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory.

I also like the story of Jacob wrestling with the angel. The word used for "wrestled" means "to wrestle, to grapple (get dusty), bedust", so Jacob and the angel were kicking up dust! And Jacob said to the angel: "I'm not letting you go except you bless me!"
Jacob was spunky!:)
