Elliot Hulse (YouTube fitness personality) is knocking on the door of Orthodoxy?

He's been traveling towards God since as long as I have known about him. He is a good motivational speaker from the fitness perspective, both myself and my wife discovered him independently on our fitness journey's. The beginning of the video is kind of his backstory on why he started (and stopped) meditating in favor of prayer, and around 6:30 he will get into his discovery of the Church Fathers and Orthodoxy. Please pray for him as he still habitually cusses. Many of these YouTube personalities discovering Orthodoxy (or rediscovering Orthodoxy in the case of Roosh) may be bringing with them many into the Church.

I pray that he joins the Church, but the way his personality is he's used to being this big, fitness guru online, so I pray he's able to develop the humility of not being a prayer guru and coming under the instruction of a spiritual father.

Yeah I remember his New Age days. The other day I was exploring the Wim Hof Method and ran into one of Hulse’s videos on the subject, started watching it , and thought “what the heck am I doing?” and clicked out of it. Honestly, I think former New Agers are attracted to Orthodoxy for Her robust spiritual doctrine. I was. I found in Orthodoxy what I couldn’t in low-tier Protestantism.
