Aside from the typical slander directed at Trump.

It's not slander if it's true. His lying, his narcissism, his race-baiting, and his conflicts of interest are well documented.

You are also slanderously misrepresenting the Evangelical\Pentecostal vote in the Republican primary.

The GOP had a field of over a dozen viable candidates for the nomination. The Evangelical\Pentecostal vote is definitely the base of the Republican party. But Trump did not win the nomination with their vote. Their vote was all divided up between other acceptable Candidates. Especially Cruz and Rubio. Cruz almost won the nomination with strictly that base of the parties votes and if the field had been just a little bit narrower he would have won. This was true even though Cruz was the most hated candidate among the secular\moderate\protestant\elitist wing of the party as well as the Democratic party because he is a real Christian. I myself was 100% behind Cruz but would not have minded one or two of the other candidates either.

Cruz didn't "almost win" anything. He won a few state primaries, but came in second in the vast majority of them. And while Trump didn't win a majority of white evangelical voters, he certainly won a plurality of them.

So to characterize Trumps nomination as the result of the Evangelical\Pentecostal vote is just a lie. The man went out an won it, not so fair and square but he won. Once he was the nominee. Did you expect us Christians to vote for the worlds biggest kleptocrat that has piles of dead bodies laying around their political career? Not on you life.

No, but I didn't expect you all to so jublilently jump aboard the Trump Train.

Afterwards I found dozens of prophecies on video about his election and what it would be like and what he would do. These are video's going back in some cases over a decade. And were they right on.

Oh....

In short this is why he has the Evangelical \Pentecostal support he has now. The majority of these folks might not have had the supernatural experiences I have had about all this. Nor got to stumble upon all the prophetic utterances about the man and this era that started four years ago. But they like me sure see what he has done and they are certainly intuitively and conscientiously aware of God being in all this. So that is why our protestations of hypocrisy are falling on deaf ears. Even if he was as you accuse him. We would still be voting that, because that is a far less evil than the democratic party.

Ya know - it is possible to vote for the guy and not be a cheerleader for him, defending all of his bad behavior. Few people I've met question the logic of supporting him on a purely transactional, opportunistic basis. It's the rampant idolatry we question. Why are prominent evangelical faith leaders out there drooling all over the guy?

Because he is a potty mouthed General Patton who knows the enemy and is seeking to win what any evangelical\Pentecostal with any common sense knows is a war for the very survival of the free world at worst. At best is a war to prevent years of needless sufferings and death all over the world due to the incompetence and evil of the Democratic party. We don't need a "good, civil and moral" Republican president who doesn't understand nor even believe we need to fight this battle. The reason we are so jubilant is we didn't expect he would be such a man.
But, and I can't expect you to see this. God has come down and stepped into this fight. That is why the good guys for the good of everyone are wining even if we lose. Just the opposite of the previous almost 3 decades. Where it seemed even if the good guys won we still lost.

“Survival of the free world”? What the heck are you talking about?
