I have explained why, others have explained why, and you choose to explain it away. So, stop finding it amazing and maybe listen to what people are typing to you. Maybe you won't be so amazed.

I am not looking to people. I am looking to God. So I am amazed that people look to each other as opposed to listening to the Lord, because He is a lot smarter than you!

Perhaps you read something about looking to men instead of looking to God in the Bible?

Is 29:13
Then the Lord said,
“Because this people draw near with their words
And honor Me with their [lip service,
But they remove their hearts far from Me,
And their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote,

Jn 12:43 for they loved the approval of men rather than the approval of God.

I remember the first time I heard the Lord tell me, "Karl, I love you" - I was driving towards a stop sign across from a church which I did not go to at that time. Those words brought a flood of tears which actually made it hard to see the coming stop sign. I hear Him tell me "Karl, I love you" quite often now. Sometime even a dozen times a day. And as for the church - He later told me to go there and specifically I spent 5 years praying in a healing ministry at the same building next to the place where He first told me "I love you".

He had obviously known then how He was going to use me later. I saw hundreds of people receive healing form Him right there where He told me "I love you." When I asked Him, 'Why me', He told me "Because you listen to Me." Of course, I had to listen to Him to find out how He wanted me to minister to and pray for the people.

How are people looking to other people going to get God to use them, since they are looking to traditions, routines, and what other people say instead of looking to Him?

we will hear from Him everyday
"But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." (1 Corinthians 6:17)

So, not only do we hear from Jesus, but within us we are each "one spirit with Him." (1 Corinthians 6:17)

What does this mean to you?

Also, it is written >

"to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." (Ephesians 3:19)

So, then, not only does Jesus speak to us, but within us He personally shares His own love with us.

And how does this love effect you? You might hear His words, but how does His love actually effect your character?

Jesus says, if we learn from Him > "you will find rest for your souls." (Matthew 11:28-30) So, hearing His words is good; but if we do not learn from Him so we are resting with Him, we are missing the meaning of His words, right? Do you agree or disagree??

Satan can hear Jesus and talk with Jesus. But Satan is not "one spirit with Him" (1 Corinthians 6:17). So, by not being "one spirit with" Jesus, yes a person might hear Him but not be one with Him in His "rest for your souls." (Matthew 11:28-30)

One needs to be a hearer and a doer.

And Jesus says if we hear and do, "you will find rest for your souls." (Matthew 11:28-30)

And by living and loving the way Jesus in us has us living and loving, we not only hear Him the Word of God, but we share with Him in how He has us living and loving > because each is "one spirit with Him" so we are so sharing so intimately . . . not only hearing.

Now a word is something spoken or written, but a word is not what says! Yet in the Bible we read over and over and over and over... that the word of the Lord came saying to people. My friends, the authors of the Bible knew Him who came and talked to them as 'the word of the Lord' or the "Word of God' That was His name (Rev 19:13) The Word took on flesh and He was then named Jesus, God's salvation, but He had always been known as the word of God.

So what has happened that we don't know Him as the Word of God but instead we only know the Scriptures as the Word of God?

Below I put just a few of the verses explaining who the word of the Lord (word of God/ Jesus Christ) came to people and spoke to them. It shows that they knew Him our Lord as the word of the Lord, because they heard from Him. Yet we are not like them, are we? We know the Scriptures, their writings, as the Word of God, but not Him as the Word of God. Is that not because we don't know Him? Of course it is.

So if I say, the Word of the God says, you think I mean something is written in the Bible. Yet I don't mean that at all. I mean I hear from Him who spoke to them, and just like they who wrote the Bible understood. So the Scriptures are good for study and reproof, but are you so stubborn as to not except the reproof which shows He is the word of the Lord who comes and says? Will you not actually seek Him and His voice and listen to Him? Will you continue to just give that idea lip service.

Anyway, below is the reproof from the Scriptures showing the He is the word of Lord/God. Dismiss it if you wish, but at your own peril.

Gen 15:4 Then behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying

1 Sam 15:10 Then the word of the LORD came to Samuel, saying,

2 Sam 7:4 But in the same night the word of the LORD came to Nathan, saying,

2 Sam 12:9 Why have you despised the word of the LORD by doing evil in His sight?

1 King 6:11 Now the word of the LORD came to Solomon saying,

1King 3:9 “For so it was commanded me by the word of the LORD, saying,

1King 3:17 For a command came to me by the word of the LORD,

1 King 16:1 Now the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,

1 King 17:2 The word of the LORD came to him, saying,

1 King 17:8 Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

1 King 18:1 Now it happened after many days that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying

1 Kings 19:9 Then he came there to a cave and lodged there; and behold, the word of the LORD came to him, and He said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

1 Kings 21:17 Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying,

I could continue of course. I only got part way through the Old Testament, but perhaps you would like to continue in a study of your own. Better yet, start seek Him and listening to Him and you will understand what they understood - that the Christ is the Word of God.

As usual, you are twisting my words. I should know better than try to get you to understand anything at all beyond your way of doing Christianity.

People - we are making the rule book (The Bible) the person (The Word of God) who is on first base. You have to play the game, meaning you've got to get to first base where Jesus Christ (The Word of God) is. You then need to get to Second (the Son sends His Spirit) then to Third (because God is Father, Son, and Spirit), so that you can round the bases to get Home (to heaven). Yet if you are still stuck at looking at the rules instead of seeking Him who is on first base, so to speak, then you are never going to get home.

So who is on first base? His name is called "The Word of God".

I will get home, even though I don't practice your version of Christianity.

My version of Christianly means listening to Jesus Christ via the Holy Spirit by faith.

Religion has a version of Christianity which says you will get to heaven because of your religion (Christian)

I hope that works for you. As for me, I have a Lord, Jesus Christ. He is my Lord because I heard from Him and He gives me instructions. The first instruction He gave me was "Read Your Bible", yet that was only the first. I hear from Him everyday. He tells me He loves me. He gives me teachings. I have seen Him do hundreds of miracles around me, and even in my - like instantly repairing a knee I hurt while surfing. He is awesome and the Bible tells you about Him. The Bible tells you that He is the Word of God, and that is His name. The Bible explains that He told the Jews that they searched the Scriptures thinking in them they had life. but they were unwilling to come to Him so that they might live. The Bible explains that the Scriptures keep everyone under sin so that Jesus Christ might be reveal. They also explain how there are those that keep to their feasts and the learn by rote, but that their heart is far from Him, so that the believe is only lip service. The Scriptures explain there is a big wide door that many try to enter heaven through (which I believe is religion) but that you must come through the narrow door, and Jesus Christ said He was the door and the way, and the life.

So I hope that version of Christianity works for you. Never-the-less, I gave the message that He asked me to give. He told me personally, "Karl, I want you to preach the Word but not as it is so often preached today. I want you to preach I AM the word of God". When that still small voice of His said "I AM" it hit me hard and I was barely able to catch myself before winding up on my bathroom floor. So you have the message, about listening to Him, believe it or not. He did give you that choice.

Many people say they are given messages from God that they are to preach this that or the other. You are no different than them.

There is a reason it states in the Bible that it is sufficient. Yes, we are to listen to His voice, but the scriptures are His voice totally and absolutely sufficient. Anything outside of that is extraneous or in other words, of external origin.

Yeah - all the authors of the Bible said to listen to His voice, but Jesus told the Pharisees who studied the Bible that they didn't hear His voice!!!

So you would be wrong in saying that the scriptures are His voice, unless Jesus as quoted in the Bible is wrong.

They were searching the Scriptures because they thought the Scripture would give them eternal life. Jesus told them the they were not of God because they did not hear His voice. He explained that it was the Spirit how gave life and that His words were spirit and life. So if they who studied the Scriptures and thought that would give them eternal life did not hear His words, why do you say readying the Bible is hearing His voice. That is not what is written in the Bible.

They were searching the Scriptures because they thought the Scripture would give them eternal life. Jesus told them the they were not of God because they did not hear His voice. So if they who studied the Scriptures and thought that would give them eternal life did not hear His words, why do you say readying the Bible is hearing His voice. That is not what is written in the Bible.

They didn't hear His voice when He was standing right beside him. There is a difference between now and then. Also, they only had OT writings, there was no NT writings at that time, you know where they recorded Jesus's actual words for us to learn from. They had His audible voice, we have His voice as it is written down.

2 Timothy 3:16 and 17

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.

So tell me, where does that say we need to look outside of scripture to know what to do? With words like "All" and "complete" and "fully" and "every" it means that the Bible is complete for all those things and looking outside of them is not needed.

I also never said the Bible gives me eternal life, only Jesus does that, but the Bible tells me that Jesus gives me eternal life. Therefore, I know that Jesus gives me eternal life. I hear His words when reading the Bible because they are His words in the Bible! Going to church and hearing the pastor or priest read His words aloud, we are hearing His voice as they are reading His words in the Bible as they were written down.

They didn't hear His voice when He was standing right beside him.

They certainly heard His physical voice when He was standing beside Him, but what they didn't realize was that God is spirit and it is the Spirit of God who gives life, not the sound waves and not the ink on pages. Those are both physical words. That is why He told them that those of God hear the voice of God, because God is spirit.

So tell me, where does that say we need to look outside of scripture to know what to do?

It tells you that all over the Scriptures. It basically comes down to the phrase "Hear, O Israel", or perhaps it shows up as His word in near you, in your heart and on your mouth. The Father explained it when He said, "This is my beloved Son with whom I and well-pleased LISTEN TO HIM" (Mat 17) It shows up in the phrase that His sheep hear His voice. It is explain in when it was written to all seven of the churches in Revelation 'Let those who have an ear to hear, hear what the Spirit has to say to the churches' It is covered in sooo soooo soooooo many ways. It is explained in when Paul asked the Galatians if they received the Spirit by works of the Law or by hearing with faith and latter that the Scriptures keep everyone under sin so that Jesus Christ might be revealed. So it is explain that every one who believes in Him (not the scriptures) shall have eternal life. He explain it to the Jews by telling them they were searching the Scriptures for eternal life instead of coming to Him. It was explained to Satan when he asked Jesus to make bread of those stones in the desert (obviously referring to the stones Moses brought down the mountain) so that Jesus responded that man must live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God, It is explained to the book to Hebrews who had grown up with the Scriptures when it was pointed out three times about "Today, If You Hear His Voice", and to encourage everyone today. So it is even point out to the Israelites that Moses spoke to before leading them out of the promise land when He called the Lord "I AM", because He has always been there to speak to us, even before the Scriptures were written. It was pointed out when we read the the word of the Lord came and spoke to Abram and Abram believed it was the Lord and that belief was counted to Him as righteousness, and that again was before the Scriptures were written. So it is even pointed out the various places where it is explain that with there ears they don't hear, and thus every time asked the people if they had ears to hear. He of course was talking about spiritual ears. So it was pointed out to Nicodemus when Jesus explained that you must be born again and that would mean hearing the sound of the wind.

Wow - I could go on and on, but you have the Bible and the writings that explain that you must hear His voice and that His words are spirit and those spiritual words are life to you.

Yet don't think because I write that you can not get to know Him personally. He said that He stands at the door and knocks and if anyone hears His voice and opens the door He will come into them and eat with them and them with Him. Just seek Him and His voice, which is found on your heart and perhaps even on your lips at times, because His words are spirit. And yeah, test the spirits (see 1 Jn 4:1-3, but it is written that if you ask for bread is He going to give you those stone from the mountain that Satan has been saying to live by.

People - You can and the Lord wants you to get to know Him personally!! It is going to mean hearing with your spiritual ears, because God is spirit. It means find Jesus Christ and His words for you. It might and will take practice (See last verse in Heb 5) but begin today but "Today" is the specific day you are suppose to hear from Him.

Start of easy, because while it is easy to hear from Him it is not so easy to have faith in Him. So start by asking Him simple question you might be able to believe Him for an answer. In the healing Christian ministry I worked in we often had people start by asking Jesus Christ how He felt about them and then pay attention to what came to them in their spirit. Sometimes we started with asking Him if there was anyone they needed to forgive, because it is harder to hear from Him tell you He loves you if you don't know about His forgiveness, and understanding that comes with you forgiving others. I personally really figured it out while driving down the freeway and asking Him which lane I should be in. That wasn't the first time I heard Him but was how I really figured out that He is indeed always with us to answer our questions.

And my friends - He like you asking Him questions!! Because our faith blows in the wind, it is not always easy getting the answers, but He will answer them even if it takes a while to get through (See Daniel), and if they are easy to believe for questions then you will hear an answer immediately. It is written that He is not slow to answer like you think.

I could give you a lot more advice from listen to Him for about 20 years, but the real advice I have for anyone is that they need to seek Him and His words for them personally.
