Wasps Attack German School Sixteen People Injured

Were these the killer hornets that come from Japan and China? I have never heard of regular wasps attacking a large group of people. However, yellow jackets can be vicious, though the picture here looks more like a hornet than a yellow jacket, which is a smaller version of the wasp. Some hornets can also be mean, including some native to North America and Europe.

I seem to recall reading where some of the Asian hornets have made it into France, so they could be in Germany now as well.

Na, those were wasps. They apparently have a big hive next in the ground. German news sources say nothing about the reasons.

That would of been dreadful. Wasp sings are particularly painful. Hope those kids recover quickly.

LOL! Not about the kids, but I thought by the headline, it was, White Anglo Saxon Protestant.
