So, after becoming saved, how can you be expected to stay focused on the things of this transient world? If you're placed here on Earth, there must be a reason for it, but since by definition it pales in comparison to the Eternal Kingdom, how much can it really matter? If all sins will be washed clean, is there any real incentive to make up for the ones that are already committed?
Does anyone else ever feel like this? Any advice on how to deal with this type of thinking would be greatly appreciated.

It's not a matter of making up for sins already forgiven, but if we are indeed disciples of Christ we will naturally want to do as he taught his followers to do. So that lays out quite an agenda before us.

You have been replenished for your journey ahead in life in this world to serve in love and compassion as best you can. God will give you strength as you talk with him and other travellers of the Way. Sometimes you may think He is not there. He is giving you time to work things out and when you are in need He will be there in your heart or in the friendship of others. Remember we are in His Kingdom here and now in this world. Love G-d and your neighbour as your self. That is the Kingdom way. Live the best life you can. Use your "talents" don't bury them. Have a great life. God bless.

Praise God you have found the Light and accepted the wonderful gift of salvation. Knowing that your sin debt is paid allows us to walk in freedom to be all God created us to be. God tells us that angels in heaven are rejoicing over a child, who has found her way. I appreciate your questions and they really helped me to stop and think about what is expected now that we walk in freedom. I really like Jay Sea’s reply.

This will allow you to walk in the fullness and blessing of a great life and adventure that God has prepared for you. I suggest that you:

1. Read your copy of God’s Word, the Bible daily. This is God talking to you and me. It is an important part of our communication. I you don’t have a Bible call this number-855 382 5433-share your “good news” and your need for a Bible.

2. This other side of communication is prayer. This is just talking to God as you would a friend. He promises us He will listen and He will answer in His way and His time. He knows what is best for us and will work all things together for our good-found in the Bible in Romans chapter 8 and verses 8-9.

3. Fellowship with other believers. This is important for support and growth. Believers are to hold one another accountable, encourage one another and serve the Kingdom of God together.

This is sooooooo important.

I am praying for you as you begin this wonderful journey. God knows your need and He is there to walk with you every step of the way. God bless you.
