Daniel 7:3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other. The first was like a LION, and had EAGLE'S wings. 4 I watched till its wings were PLUCKED OFF; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man's heart was given to it.

America's symbol has always been the Eagle... England's symbol has always been the Lion.... Here you see the Eagle's wings coming out of the Lion, just as America came out of England... Then you see the Eagle's wings being plucked off of the Lion (declaring its independence) and the Eagle was given the feet and heart of a man to stand on its own..... This shows America declaring our independence from England in 1776.... and the verse is in Daniel 7:4.... 7th month, JULY... 4th day.... JULY 4th,, which is the day we declared our independence.

Plus, all of the animals mentioned in Daniel 7 (which are countries) are seen again in Revelation 13 during the last days... all of the animals (countries) merge with the great beast of Revelation, except for the Eagle... because the Eagle will NOT be a part of the Beast (one world government).... The Bible also says in Revelation 12 that in the last days Israel will be nurtured by the Eagle once the Jews have fled into the wilderness because of the anti-Christ... Which shows that the Eagle, America, will NOT join with the Beast or the anti-Christ.

I am sure you all have come across a different take on these verses or have come up with your own. Let's compare.

Perhaps. Then again, I also read that a third of the earth is burned up. The Americas are about a third of the earth's landmass. The matter may end up being moot. Hard to say until it happens.

The wings of an eagle is about swiftness of movement.
Rev. 12 doesn't say she will be nourished by the eagle.
14 And there were given to the woman the two wings of the great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness unto her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Yes, wings are about swiftness, creatures represent kingdoms, and she was nourished and you are right it is not explicit who is feeding her in the wilderness. It also says that with the two wings of the eagle she is flown unto "her place", which one could construe to be the eagles nest, where she is nourished.

Nourishment reminds me of a threshold.

It could be the actual wilderness...
Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
That should read "a place prepared from God".
It makes me think of this:
2Pe 2:6-9 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; (7) And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (8) (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds (9) The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished

Could Rev 12:6 and Rev. 12:14 be two different events?

I have often thought so... Kind of like a rehearsal [6] mentioned before compared to [14] where the only difference is the "wings" which indicates the extremeness of the fleeing. Maybe this time 'wings' represent "pick up and delivery' as it was for Philip, where you are instantly taken to the wilderness.

Acts 8:39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.
