Just heard This. So, this could be the coalition that stands against the AC or Beast?

Daniel 11, talks of the King of the North (Syria), coming against the king of the South (Egypt). This happened historically, but it prefigures what the happen in the last days by the one who is known as the Beast or Antichrist- who comes from the North of Israel. He is also known as the Assyrian... Interesting development Imo.

Trump announces 'Historic Peace Agreement' between Israel, UAE

OK, I have a question for you. I want you to consider the prophecy of the king of the north and his great fleet of ships.

Daniel 11:40 NIV: "At the time of the end the king of the South will engage him in battle, and the king of the North will storm out against him with chariots and cavalry and a great fleet of ships. He will invade many countries and sweep through them like a flood.
Daniel 11:41 NIV: He will also invade the Beautiful Land. Many countries will fall, but Edom, Moab and the leaders of Ammon will be delivered from his hand.
Daniel 11:42 NIV: He will extend his power over many countries; Egypt will not escape.

The question is, why does the king of the north require a great fleet of ships to Invade the middle east?
I'm wanting you to think here.

Actually, Trump is the king of the north.
The king of the south(Iraq) is Assyria who will be destroyed after attacking Jerusalem.

There will be many countries who will attack Jerusalem at that time. The US wipes them all off the face of the earth.

You could say the king of the north is the Israel governments ace in the hole. The king of the north moves his embassy to Jerusalem for Israel. The king of the north devides the land for Israel. The king of the north causes Israel to rule over many.

Is there anything the king of the north wouldn't do for the Israeli government?

How is USA the king of the North? The area to the North of Israel is Syria and all part of the old Assyrian Empire. Turkey is the calling for reestablishing of the Caliphate too. The last big Empire that controlled this area was the Turkish-Ottoman Empire, and they will want this land back once a Caliphate is formed. That be a Muslim Caliphate.

Brother, I see what you are saying, but the USA would have to take over the area to the North of Israel for this to be considered. That happens, I might agree with you. :)

The US has forces throughout the world.
We have fortresses everywhere including Israel and North of Israel. I'm not sure the number in NATO but I'm sure it's up there.

I agree with you there! We are all over. Just don't agree with your interpretation of the end times events. Thanks for sharing your view point!

Here are the numbers.
The US has the largest military in the north atlantic trade organization with 1.34 million troops.
We have 320,000 troops in Europe alone. (North of Israel)

But that's not why I believe Trump is the king of the north. Like I said. Alot has taken place in the last few decades that I think you have not noticed.
You know Jesus spoke of the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel and I'm sure when you see it you will surely take notice of it. But there are 30 verses before Daniel talks about the abomination of desolation in Daniel 11:31.

Alot has happened in those previous 30 verses that no one seems to pay attention to. I would encourage you to look into them and pay close attention to those verses as well.

15“Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.

I'll help. Dispensationalism believes that Jesus forgot to tell His audience that day to tune Him out.

So His followers mistook His warning as their own.

And heeded it, and fled, and survived.

Those foolish followers. They should have stayed home and been slaughtered.

But thankfully they didn't and weren't.

Because they were not dispensational futurists.

Since you believe those in Judea already fled for the mountains. You should know it takes more than one verse to tell a story.

Zechariah 14:5 You will flee by My mountain valley, for it will extend to Azal. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with Him.

How bad did the Lord punish Egypt when he fought against those nations that come against Jerusalem?

Is your position going to change about Trump being the king of the north when he doesn't get re elected come Nov? The odds of him being re elected seem pretty slim now, since this virus crisis took hold. Unless Trump is still President when you think the king of the north fulfills these things, how could Trump still be the king of the north if he's no longer in power when the king of the north fulfills these things?

What I expect to watch and see is Trump not getting re elected. Not that I don't want him to. I just don't see how he can at this point. Before this virus crisis I would have bet the farm that he would get re elected.
And if he does not get re elected, there goes your theory out the window altogether about Trump being the king of the north, since it would require someone being in power at the time, not someone no longer in power.

I think some of the readers of these forums know better. :)

"From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, at the very gates. Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place." - Matthew 24:32-34

At the very gates, this isn't even really a metaphor. Literally, the armies of Rome at the gates of Jerusalem. When will these things happen? Within the living generation of those who heard these words.

Jesus says what He means and means what He says here. It's not some elaborate code that you need some special decipher ring and high level magic math. Jesus means that when the things He's talking about take place, pay attention, because that's when Jerusalem is going to be besieged and the Temple destroyed. To those who first heard these words, this was still yet to happen. But for us, reading it now, this is almost two thousand years ago in the past. It happened. Jesus' prophecy concerning the destruction of the Temple actually happened.

During the Jewish-Roman War of the first century the Zealots took up arms and took Jerusalem hostage, going so far as to even massacre the priests and commit desecrating abomination in the Temple (just as Jesus foretold), and in response to this, Rome responded with intense military aggression. The Temple was destroyed, the sacred objects carried away by Titus' armies as the spoils of war.

That was not what Jesus told us to look for. It wasn't the armies that are doing desecrating abomination and carrying stuff off to Rome, it is the image that gets set up in the Temple and remains until Jesus comes back, also a man will sit in the Temple showing he is over or equal to God. Notice the words of Jesus and Daniel and Paul, and the context.

So all this happens again in a similar way before the Lord comes back, but fulfills all the prophecies, not just destroying the Temple in 70AD. That means another Temple will be built too. Better relations with the Arabs will help this become a reality.

Like the Scriptures point out, the time frame is just before Jesus returns- 3.5 years in other Scriptures is the focus. This is what I believe Daniel is teaching us too.

You can believe what you want, all we have to do is wait and see. And I won't even say I told you so. :) P.S. Didn't mean to highlight everything, it got stuck.

15“Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),

31“Forces from him will arise, desecrate the sanctuary fortress, and do away with the regular sacrifice. And they will set up the abomination of desolation.

“How long will it be until the end of these wonders?” 7I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time; and as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed. 8As for me, I heard but could not understand; so I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these events?9He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for these words are concealed and sealed up until the end time. 10“Many will be purged, purified and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; and none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand. 11“From the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12“How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1,335 days! 13“But as for you, go your way to the end; then you will enter into rest and rise again for your allotted portion at the end of the age.”

1Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, 2that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
