So much for the pretentions of that party to being the party of racial justice.

Even if you only count people who aren't mixed, Cory Booker is Black. Also, everything I can find about Tim Scott indicates that he turned down an invitation to join the CBC, not that he was rejected. Same is true of Will Hurd. Mia Love was a member when she was in Congress.

Had any such conditions been placed on a black Democrat, there is no question but that it would have been called racially motivated.
