Practically everything stated was an opinion.
Maybe you were reading a different post. I saw references to ...

"Harris ran as an unapologetic liberal, taking radical positions on climate change, health care and guns, and showing weakness on law enforcement. Her commitments to eliminate private health insurance, ban fossil fuels, support sanctuary cities, and allow government funding of abortions puts her outside the mainstream of American politics."

All of those positions taken by Harris are a matter of record. About all that might be called an 'opinion' was the use of the word weakness in one instance.

"Harris ran as an unapologetic liberal ... that's an opinion

... taking radical positions on climate change, health care and guns, ... that's an opinion

... and showing weakness on law enforcement ... yet another opinion.

Her commitments to eliminate private health insurance

Kamala favors a Medicare-for-all plan that allows Americans to KEEP private insurance ...

Kamala Harris unveils 'Medicare for All' plan that won't kill private insurance

ban fossil fuels ...

Kamala favors holding polluters accountable and stopping handouts to the fossil fuel industry ...

Joe Biden for President: Official Campaign Website

support sanctuary cities,

Harris has expressed support for San Francisco's sanctuary city policy of not inquiring about immigration status in the process of a criminal investigation.

... and allow government funding of abortions puts her outside the mainstream of American politics."

I can find no citation where Harris says that she would allow government funding of abortions ... and her actions as Attorney General of California argues against that position ...

"In 2013, when she was California Attorney General, Harris allowed the Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian to cease the availability of elective abortions, after it entered a partnership with a Catholic chain, St. Joseph Health System."

Do you want to offer a different opinion? Like "She's an apologetic liberal?"

Or maybe, "She's an unapologetic conservative?"

^_^
The statement, itself, is fairly meaningless ... other than to say that she is not a conservative.

And her positions often tend more toward the center ...

Here's information from a post of mine on the "Will Joe Biden Cave?" thread:

Another way of looking at it is this: Harris is ranked as the most liberal member of the US Senate, and since the radicals in Congress are boasting about how they've been successful at pressuring Biden, it looks as though they had their way with the VP selection as well.

Plus I'm sure her hair smells wonderful.

Harris ran as an unapologetic liberal, taking radical positions on climate change, health care and guns, and showing weakness on law enforcement. Her commitments to eliminate private health insurance, ban fossil fuels, support sanctuary cities, and allow government funding of abortions puts her outside the mainstream of American politics.

She brings nothing to the ticket for true centrists or disaffected Republicans. She is more liberal than Biden, and that's saying a lot as Biden has spent the past year lurching and contorting himself to the left.

Harris is from California. Most of the country does not want to be like California. There was no drama for political observers who know Biden was already going to win in California. What Harris brings to the ticket is a mystery to most.

Jason Chaffetz: Kamala Harris, Biden's VP pick – here's what she brings to the ticket
What does Harris bring to the Biden ticket?
The majority of Latino Americans surveyed saw Harris as an asset to the Biden ticket - yet another large voting block that should be motivated to unite behind the Democrats!

In case "Mountainmanbob" hadn't noticed, the nation has shifted to the left and the performance of this President and congressional Republicans when confronted by both the pandemic and economic crises has been less that stellar - to put it charitably!

Perhaps "Mountainmanbob," in his infinite wisdom, will enlighten the rest of us as to whom Biden should have chosen as VP!

This is simply laughable in a Senate including ...

Elizabeth Warren
Bernie Sanders
Corey Booker
Dianne Feinstein

Picking people based on race and sex without regard to accomplishment puts Biden's credibility in serious doubt.
I agree, but I don't think this election is about Biden because Old Joe is not really here.

I think it's a grave error to assume Biden is senile. The more Trumpsters play up Biden's mental status the better he will look at debates.
