Hebrews 13:7. Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God.
Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith.

The leadership of the body of Christ was tasked with teaching a new Way.
To walk by faith.
1 Corinthians 11:
1 Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.
2 Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain
the traditions even as I delivered them to you.

2 Thessalonians 2:15. So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions
that you were taught by us, either by our spoken word or by our letter.

Our Lord made clear what He expected of those who would lead and shepherd His Flock.
Luke 22:
24. A dispute also arose among them, as to which of them was to be regarded as the greatest.
25 And he said to them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and those in authority over them are called benefactors.
26 But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves.
27 For who is the greater, one who reclines at table or one who serves?
Is it not the one who reclines at table?
But I am among you as the one who serves.

Can I ask what your point is in the OP ?

Thanks !
Sure. The word translated traditions in Paul's letters is that used when Yeshua criticized the "traditions of the elders", as suggested by the title. This would imply that having traditions does not necessarily mean error. In the Gospels, Yeshua stated that many traditions opposed God's Word.

"Thus have ye made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition."
Matthew 15:6.

The new traditions involved walking by faith, which required learning to follow the leading of
The Holy Spirit. In doing so, they would establish and fulfill the Law, not make it of no effect.

Agreed there is a huge difference between the traditions of men and traditions that come from Christ and the Apostles.

John 13:
13 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.
14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one
another’s feet.

15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
16 Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he
who is sent greater than he who sent him.

17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

Paul was a Rabbi. He uses the same word that appears in the Gospels when Yeshua
condemns the Rabbis, and he encourages the church to follow these new traditions.
The point is this, Yeshua did not condemn keeping traditions that are passed down
by elders, He condemns traditions that undermine the word of God.

"Thus have ye made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition."
Matthew 15:6.

Traditions being teachings, as distinct from customs, right?
Exactly. Paul taught from the scriptures, but he also laid down guidelines for the church.
For example, qualifications for elders, bishops, deacons, etc...
He referred to these teachings as "traditions".
This was in the OP post#1
1 Corinthians 11:
1 Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

the traditions even as I delivered them to you.
