This summer is going so quickly. August already. But still, the days are quite long and the weather has been glorious!

Got a tension headache and nausea tonight - must be the heat and a pending thunderstorm.
Also my neighbour in the flat upstairs is moving things around and making a noise and it's nearly 11pm! Sometimes I wish he'd look at the clock and realise that his neighbours are probably trying to get to sleep.
On a good note, I had plenty of ice cream to help me cool down. Off to bed soon - it's work tomorrow.

Storms are forecast for the Black Country this evening. Here in Walsall we have claps of thunder and flashes of lightening already but can't see any rain yet, but expecting some heavy showers very soon. Hope it cools down the muggy temperatures.

Goodnight dear friends, a difficult day today, but getting better. I am thankful and praise God that my daughter came to see us. It is the first time she has seen her dad since before his operation.
