Yes, I was baptized a couple years ago. :)

What do you mean by that?

Thanks, may God bless you as well, but I always repent of my sins and most of the time I never repeat them. :D
Then I will leave you with scripture. No one doubts in the Kingdom of God. Be blessed.
James 1:5-8
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

So then are you saying because I doubt at times that I am not a Christian? Or are you saying that I won't doubt anymore when I get to Heaven?

Someone who is Agnostic believes that religion is kind of made up. In a sense that there is too much of a comprehension issue with Christianity. To the point where it seems made up. Agnostic belief is more so of a belief in higher power without connecting dots that "aren't there". People look for ability to realize aside from ability to define properly with this belief.

Christianity believes and understands issues such as living life under questionable aspects and uncertainties. Certain with religion and focal point on Jesus Christ, Christianity has branched into wisdom and knowledge true to the divine nature of God, Himself. As the Bible shows ways to interpret itself we can use it in everyday life forever as Christianity shows guidance through of what is holy and bound by godly life.

In short, Agnostic believers will follow a higher power that is never comprehended by simply describing existence or even writing down acts that show a title of God.

Religion, for example Christianity, shows that God's divinity and truth isn't only based off love and doing the right thing but truthfully is made flesh showing rightful existence of what is God.

Not necessarily. Although Agnostics come in different forms, the only thing that classifies one as an Agnostic is the conviction that we mortals cannot know whether there is a God or not.

This is not my saying, it is in scripture. Just want to make you aware of it. There are no doubters in the Kingdom of God.

Thats the term, the definition is literally knowledge,
This is the etymological meaning. Bit etymology is not the same as current meaning.

Old Greek idiotes means etymologically a selfish person, that does not participate in the public affairs of the town/state (in Ancient Greek, there was no large state above the level of a town with "colonies"). So when you label someone an "idiot", do you want to say that he/she is politically disinterested?

The word gnosticism has been defined and used in the sense Wikipedia describes: a philosophical system comparable with modern "esoteric" (both are fluid and manifold, another parallel). It is sheer sophism to use it in a new sense without good reason.

Agreed. I think my explanation just didn't really find conviction properly. I agree though. Agnostics find that using words such as God are possibly leading towards the wrong direction. Further leading into that life teaches us things that we follow truthfully instead.

Of course this isn't what I believe anymore but yes, Agnostics find that conviction true.

No words can have multiple meanings, I'm using the greek word that means knowledge, your trying to play word games and pretend i mean something else, thats not how languages mean.

I thought I was born again for about 16 years give or take. Part of my story can be found elsewhere on this site if you follow my screen name you should find something more tangible. The main thing is seeking God The Father and being obedient to The Word of God made flesh which is Christ. It’s now been over 30 years since Christ made captivity captive.

Gnosticism is no Greek word, it is an English word derived from the Greek word for knowledge.

Definition of gnosticism:
the thought and practice especially of various cults of late pre-Christian and early Christian centuries distinguished by the conviction that matter is evil and that emancipation comes through gnosis

It is you who plays on words by referring to Ancient Greek instead of English.

I'm talking about the term gnostic theist and agnostic theist, which are based on the root nothing to do with gnosticism, we are talking about how a word is used, not how you demand it be used. Done playing argument from inccorect definition, go play fallicy games elsewhere.

Take heart from the fact that the devil is needling you because you have faith. If you were an agnostic he wouldn't bother. My guess is he sees your faith as not being as deep as it can be and he is trying to remove it.

Nothing strengthened my faith more than the day I ditched evolution and believed in creation. I have Ken Ham to thank for that. I might not agree with him on everything -for example, I believe there was thick vapour canopy around the world that came down in the flood. The whole Bible hangs together with creation perfectly. Evolution though is a square peg in a round hole.
Ken Ham, what a guy.

What is the difference between an agnostic and a Christian who doubts their faith sometimes? Cause I'm sort of having issues with the devil telling me I can't really be a true Christian because of the fact I get doubts from time to time and that thought scares me to death. :( (Of course on the other hand like I have come to realize,.. if I wasn't saved then I wouldn't be worried so much.)

Everybody has different characters and strategies. I went to a Christian school where people were actually quite dysfunctional and discouraging for my faith. The put downs, fake hierarchies and the faulty understandings took me years to work through and prompted all sorts of doubts and fears about my faith. I found the best way was usually to confront these things head on and put myself directly into contact with the people who represented my greatest doubts or fears. One by one I worked them through, seeing some of these people saved and moving past their word games and deceptions. That momentum has continued throughout my life really as I have confronted one religion, cult and worldview after another head and found Christ superior to the lot of them.

Fundamentally our journeys to Jesus are not just our own. He is there with us and He is leading us onwards. When tested we should rejoice as their is value in all our trials and we can trust Him to lead us through them. We focus on how we feel about this or that and thereby miss the delight on His face when we turn towards Him. He is our focus and He is the One that strengthens our faith whatever the trial.

Wondering "what if" about evolution is perfectly healthy. Try not to think about it as being forced to learn about it, think of it as an opportunity. You can learn a lot from the other side of the conversation, even if you disagree. God isn't going to punish you for asking questions and seeking answers.

I'm starting to see what this means now,.. because I'm starting to ask about the theory of evolution and how it can coexist with the existence of God,.. just because I'm curious what atheists believe.

I believe that you need to know and hold strongly to your beliefs before dipping into the world and atheism beliefs. They will do all they can to erode your faith if you don't already know the word of God well. They will pluck out one sentence and you need to know and understand the deep layers of the scripture to see the tiny lies they toss your way.
Just like in the garden when the devil said "Did God really say?" It was to cast doubt.

I do believe that I can still hold onto my faith and ask questions when it comes to just simply understanding them. Especially since I believe that certain parts of evolution can coexist with Christianity.
