Or maybe, it's that there will be no hour for us, if we repent and wake up. Maybe the hour is for the unrepentant slumberers.

From your post(s) it sounds like you aren't sure. If that's the case then you may find yourself counted among those slumbering if you don't have Oil in your lamp to keep shinning.

Those that have Oil in their lamp (immersed in the Holy Spirit) when He returns for His Bride aren't unrepentant sinners. If you read 1 John diligently you should understand that a Believer baptized in the Holy Spirit does not practice sin. To the contrary they have enough Oil in their lamp and in some instances the Oil overflows from their lamp to others.

Somewhat...I believe, by His Grace, that I have a little light left in me and that He is faithful and He will do it.

"it is already the hour to awake out of sleep."
In other words, if you haven't already awoke to salvation, you have overslept!

In Romans 13:11, Paul is speaking in exhortation to every believer to pursue salvation with urgency.

Philippians 2:12. Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only,
but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

The verse you quote from Matthew is situational; not to be concerned with how to answer any
accusation, ultimately from you know who, the accuser.
It is in regard to your sanctification.

1 Peter 3:15. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense
to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

Seems like it's all about timing...or maybe, no time at all. If we are in Spirit and Truth, wouldn't you say that we are already in eternity?

So, having that oil may be a picture of us having entered the door, into the secret and timeless place, thus having escaped or having been delivered from that hour.
