Still pedantic. And the last verse harms your case.

And the others??

You call yourself a Christian and refuse to believe what you read! Some people deliberately refuse to believe there is a God, and they call themselves atheists.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; SO THAT THEY ARE WITHOUT EXCUSE.

`Actually, the Bible doesn't use the word "atheist" to describe the person who believes there is no God. Psalm 14:1 describes him as a fool!
"The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God".
Psalm 14 is so relevant...

There's no such thing as an atheist according to the Bible.

Romans 1:20-21,

V. 20, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

V. 21, Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”

The ultimate reason unbelievers don't give their life to Christ isn't because of any excuse they give. It's because they love their sin more than they love God. It's hard for sinners to stop sleeping with their boyfriend or girlfriend, to give up their adulterous relationship, to be held to God's moral and righteous standards.
The ultimate reason people don't give their lives to God is because they love the darkness more than they love the light; John 3:19, And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Atheism is defined by Webster's New World Dictionary as, "(1) the belief that there is no God, or denial that God or gods exist,(2) godlessness."

An atheist, therefore, is a person who believes that there is no God.

There will be no Atheist in hell.

Yes, I understand what Adino is saying here. Increasing your faith includes believing what God says in the Bible. I think Adino is simply trying to tell us to believe what the Bible actually says versus what the world says. For example, the world is full of Atheists but the Bible says Atheists don't exist because they can clearly see that God is there. They just want to deny God.

The Bible clearly says in Romans 1:20 that there is no excuse for not believing. Everyone can see that God is clearly there. It's right in front of our faces all day long every single day. Some people would rather ignore God. The choice to be saved comes down to believing on (putting all your trust on Jesus Christ) to save you.

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

That first little drop of faith in which you believe on Jesus Christ alone to save you is what saves you and gives you everlasting life. It's not difficult to do this, and it takes no work. Salvation is not of works.

So, the Bible is saying that God is justified in sending people to hell because those people can see that God is real (the proof is all around them and very clear), but they continue to reject him over and over again. In other words, God gives everyone the chances they need to be saved. All they have to do is change their mind and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ to save them.

Athiests are not going to publicly call themselves fools

They are not going to call themselves fools because bunch of religious people (from among thousands of religions) say their version of holy book calls them that.

Yeah, I can see that. Sounds quite reasonable.

Doubt Christians would call themselves fools even if Hindus and Bhagavad Gita said so.

Bit like rating people on their clothes style if they just do not care about it.

Adino: "I'm not denying their out there. There out there all right. What scripture says is they refuse to believe that God exists."

Since they say that they don't believe in God and that is what Scripture says, there is nothing to argue about.

True (I am a little late in such comment). It is also true that the Atheist (descriptive dictionary word for one who is unbelieving about a deity), is in fact unbelieving, so when we say one is a "atheist" we are using our language to describe what Holy Scripture tells . I think most people understand that, so there is no need to raise such a question as the OP does.
