What are those?

Just want to also mine...
For almost 5yrs I'm struggling if I'm called....

But almost daily, I love studying God's Word, sometimes taking me 3hours...everyday I always talk to different baby christians(they are 13 plus) and lost people. I'm following up their Faith... I don't know, it's really just my passion

So yea, almost every I do phone calls to different people, chat, conduct Bible study... praying for them.. counseling them... I don't know.. Everytime I'm intimate with Jesus, this passion keeps growing... but I'm afraid, I still do touch once a day.. and I have some sins that hindering me.. I just want to ignore this Desire from Jesus gave me..

Greetings Aldrin25,
If The Lord has a calling on your life He will complete His work, remember Jonah. However if you are struggling with impure and sinful desires, I would encourage you to repent and turn towards God with your whole heart.

Hi Aldrin,
It is good that you know SIN hinder you!
Do not ignore SIN !
TURN your heart from sin to God !
Yes, REPENT in true contrition!
Repent wholeheartedly!
Don’t let sin hinder your future ministering to whom God has called you !

Let me share my testimony, and how God healed my heart and turn to Him my whole-heart !

How long have I been a Christian ?
How many years have I wasted away ?
How shameful I became?

My turning point is that I cannot accept who I became !

I HATE who I became !

This ‘HATE’ I believe is the fear of God, that is, TO HATE EVIL !

For it is written:
The fear of the LORD is hatred of evil.
Pride and arrogance
and the way of evil
and perverted speech
I HATE. -Proverbs 8:13

It is RIGHT to hate pride in oneself !
It is RIGHT to hate arrogance in oneself !
It is RIGHT to hate way of evil in oneself !
It is RIGHT to hate perverted speech in oneself !

For many who desire to REPENT or turn from sin to God is :
to embrace THIS FEAR OF GOD !

It is REVEALED in the Proverbs:
By steadfast love and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for,
and by THE FEAR OF THE LORD one turns away from evil. -Proverbs 16:6

Yes, ALL can turn away from evil by THE FEAR OF THE LORD.

For it is written:
ALL we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned'every one'to his own way;
and the LORD ( God the Father )
has laid on Him ( Christ Jesus)
the iniquity of us all. -Isaiah 53:6

Yes, ALL have gone — strayed BEFORE — follow our own way !

But that do not stop our Lord Jesus gave Himself up to die for our sins on the cross;

By His steadfast love and faithfulness,
Christ Jesus fulfill God the Father’s purpose
to ATONE our iniquities.

Have we forgotten that we have been CLEANSED from former sins?

Have we been BLIND that we cannot see His steadfast love and faithfulness?

Can we IGNORE SUCH LOVE ?

When I start hating my pride, hating my arrogance,
hating my conduct and
hating perverse things ;
my LIFE began to TURN !
For we have been taught before:

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. -James 4:7

I believe in the name of God.
I claim that His power of His name WORK in my life.

For it is written for our instructions:
Through You ( Lord Jesus Christ)
we push down our foes;
through YOUR NAME ( the name of Lord Jesus Christ)
we tread down those who rise up against us. -Psalms 44:5

This is what I SPEAK :
In the power of Jesus Christ’s name, I resist pride !
Amen

In the power of Jesus Christ’s name, I resist arrogance !
Amen

In the power of Jesus Christ’s name, I resist perverse things !
Amen

I have faith in the power of Christ Jesus’s name and REPEAT again and again when the devil start harassing me in my thoughts !

INDEED, the devil flee !
Hallelujah

How awesome is God’s name.

As I have come to learn In THIS STRUGGLE AGAINST SIN is
A GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH AGAINST SIN.

For the words written in the Holy Scripture for our instructions:

In YOUR STRUGGLE AGAINST SIN you have not yet RESISTED to the point of shedding your blood. -Hebrews 12:4

Fight THE GOOD FIGHT OF THE FAITH. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. -1 Timothy 6:12

Yes, we are called to continue to DECLARE OUR FAITH AGAINST SIN !
like DECLARING WAR AGAINST SIN !

Yes, we FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH AGAINST SIN is that we have to make a STAND by proclaiming our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that we RESIST the enemy, that is, SIN.

For when we proclaim our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ;
the Lord is with us, that is :

for the LORD our God is He who goes with us to fight for us against our enemies, to give us the victory.' -Deuteronomy 20:4

or you can say it :
for the LORD my God is
He who goes with me
to fight for me against
my enemies,
to give me the victory.' -Deuteronomy 20:4

Yes, when we REPENT, we have TURN to God like a sheep went
a-strayed, as apostle Peter relate to us:

For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. -1 Peter 2:25

Yes, we have RETURNED TO
our Lord Jesus Christ who is
our Shepherd
and Overseer of our SOULS.

This is what have been PROMISED to us:

And in Your steadfast love You ( Lord Jesus) will cut off my enemies,
and You ( Lord Jesus ) will destroy ALL THE ADVERSARIES OF MY SOUL,
for I am Your servant. -Psalms 143:12

Yes, our Jesus Christ in His steadfast love, will surely cut off our enemies!

Yes, our Jesus Christ will destroy ALL THE ADVERSARIES OF OUR SOULS
because we are the servants of Jesus Christ.

As apostle Paul relate to us:
and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness. -Romans 6:18

As apostle Paul have told us :
Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions. -Romans 6:12

Do not present your members to sin
as instruments for unrighteousness,
but PRESENT YOURSELVES TO GOD
as those who have been brought from death to life,
and your members to God
as INSTRUMENTS FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS. -Romans 6:13

For sin will have NO DOMINION OVER YOU,
since you are not under law but UNDER GRACE. -Romans 6:14

When we continue to
BELIEVE DAILY in Christ Jesus’ steadfast love and faithfulness, we are under His grace !

Sin will have NO DOMINION over us when we continue BATTLE OF FAITH AGAINST SIN.

As we have heard when the Lord comes again :

And then they will see the Son of Man ( Jesus ) coming in a cloud with power and great glory. -Luke 21:27

Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads,
because YOUR REDEMPTION IS DRAWING NEAR." -Luke 21:28

Jesus Christ our Lord and Redeemer, will come soon !

Then comes the end, when He ( our Lord Jesus Christ) delivers the kingdom to God the Father after DESTROYING EVERY RULE AND EVERY AUTHORITY AND POWER. -1 Corinthians 15:24

For He ( Lord ) must reign until He ( Lord Jesus )has put all His enemies under His ( Christ’s ) feet. -1 Corinthians 15:25

As apostle Paul who has overcome sin through faith in Christ Jesus, have spoken:

So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and ALIVE to God IN CHRIST JESUS. -Romans 6:11

We are alive to God when we continue to BELIEVE in all God’s promises that He has made for us!

For this is spoken in the Holy Scripture:

This is my comfort in my affliction, that YOUR PROMISE GIVES ME LIFE. -Psalms 119:50

Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah.
Let us give God’s name the glory
because of His steadfast love and faithfulness, that we are saved.
Amen

I always ask people, "I know everyone in church says that, but where do you see that in scripture. If God says it over and over, you say it. If God says it even once, you mention it. If God never says a word, then the statement came from men, and to say something is to teach as doctrines the precepts of men. We have changed God's definitions over the years to fit what we "feel" should be good and right even if it contradicts what God and God's people have said and done and said nothing at all about and never did at all.

For example: God's definition of adultery. How many times did David commit adultery? Answer: According to the word of God, ONCE, on wife eight: Bathsheba. How many wives did David take after that? Most scholars agree someplace between ten and 20 more wives. Did he commit adultery there? Nope. According to scripture it was ONLY when David took the wife of another man still living. Do a search on the words Uriah the Hittite. According to God, David was without sin except in that matter. (Had him killed and took his wife. Yes, David did number the people and David felt very guilty about that, but if you read the commandment with regards to that issue, it was the people who were responsible for giving, not him. He just got the ball rolling. How can I say that? Because the word of God says it.

How many times did Solomon commit adultery? Let's see, counting every place where the word of God says something about it ... he not only looked at a picture or a video, not only saw 1000 live women naked, but had sex with all of them and kids with a lot. Was Solomon reproved for his wives? Yes. What was he reproved for? Was it the number of wives? Nope. He was reproved for taking foreign wives. God reproves those whom he loves for the sins they practice. If you do not see the reproof of God you aren't His kid. Hello, McFly, God did reprove Solomon for his sin.

Did you realize that there are at least 2 places in the old Testament where God the Father Himself claims to have multiple wives. Does God commit adultery? The 10 virgins in the N.T. ... Who is the bridegroom in the story? Is Jesus a High Priest? What are the marriage requirements for a High Priest? Where is the wife in the parable? Who are the virgins again? The kingdom of heaven is like ... so explain to me why the bridegroom, without the bride, is locking himself away in heaven with 5 "virgins" that aren't his wife, without his wife? Are they bridesmaids who should be home with their own husbands, or who have no business being alone with the bridegroom at all? If they were servants they wouldn't have to be virgins, and they would be cleaning up after the wedding feast, not locked behind closed doors with a bridegroom. Slaves are bought and sold and sent to other households, bridesmaids go off and get married to other men and go live in other households. Does this indicate that the kingdom of heaven is transient, and that we aren't going to be with God for eternity?

Whatever is not from faith is sin. So, if you haven't done the thorough study you need to on the topic DO IT! Not doing it is sin. Can sinners minister? Outside of Christ, the only people ministering were sinners. Here are some guidelines. How can you tell if someone is trying to teach you whatever they "want to believe" "as" truth, look at what they share/do. Do they:

1.) Share the proof that verifies their views are the correct ones. What else do they share?

2.) They share the evidence that proves all opposing views are off. How do they interpret everything?

3.) They Interpret everything in the light of what they “know” is truth. What is truth? For each of them, the truth is their beliefs. Ergo, all correct interpretations … of all “valid” data, must support … or at least not negate, their infallible beliefs.

4.) Anything that doesn’t seem to fit with our views, we reinterpret, ignore, discredit, invalidate …

5.) We may have experiences, signs, or other facts that are important to us. Things like: We have a burning in the bosom, we speak in tongues, we perform signs or wonders, a statue of Mary came to life and told us our belief groups views are correct, we have prayed to God for the truth and received “feelings” or even signs from heaven. Or, on a more concrete level we have facts about our belief group. Things like: Our belief group is the oldest, largest, fastest growing, wealthiest, has the most experts with doctorates… We include anything that adds assurance that our way is the best way.”

But these are the things we do "if" we just want to believe what we want to believe and have reasons for discarding the rest, closing our eyes, ears and hearts to even considering anything else. Everyone doing the above process has unquestionably true, infallible beliefs. Why? Look at 1-5 above. If you do more of any of them, how long before you discover your beliefs are false? How long before you realize something else is true? Answer to both is you can never get to anything but complete assurance of your beliefs, whether you are an Atheist, Moslem, Jew, Roman Catholic, Baptist, Mormon ... everyone does the methodology above to hold fast to their beliefs "as" truth. Now look at this Method:

1.) Rule #1: Avoid “Methodology One”: Proving your beliefs true and holding fast to them, is not the same as, “Proving all things over and over again as a habit and way of life, and holding fast to what is good/true.”

2.) Open-mindedness: All belief groups believe in being open minded … “until” you accept their beliefs. Then they believe in being as closed as possible. If you love truth, you will continually remain open-minded to altering any or all of your beliefs in the light of the fullness of the truth, when everything that “might” pertain to the topic at hand is rightly divided.

3.) Habitual ongoing Labor/ Getting Every Piece of Data that Might Pertain: If you Love Truth, you, personally, must become a manual laborer and keep on gathering every fact anyone thinks might pertain to every topic at hand. Then gather all the data that “might pertain” no belief group gathers because they can’t use that information to prove their beliefs true or opposing beliefs false.

4.) Consistency with Background Context: Pick a meaning that fully aligns with the historical, legal, architectural, agricultural … context.

5.) Consistency of Meaning of words/root words/figures of speech: Hold to a meaning for all words, root words, and figures of speech consistent with their usage throughout the Old and New Testament. We have a Greek Old and New Testament and a Hebrew Old Testament, pick a meaning fully fitting everywhere the same word, root word, and figure of speech is used.

6.) Consistency with the Surrounding Discussion: Hold to a meaning consistent with the entire discussion surrounding the verse or passage being considered, hold to the flow of thought, flow of arguments, meaning of points made …

7.) Consistency with conscience: Example: If your interpretation would be a sin if a man did likewise and your interpretation results in believing God does what would be sin for us, your interpretation is wrong. i.e., there are no illustrations in the Bible where God says He commits adultery. If your chosen meaning for the word adultery would make God an adulterer, and by His own admission, you picked the wrong meaning for the word.

8.) God, God’s People and God’s Word are 100% consistent: Pick an interpretation for all the data that makes God, God’s people and God’s word 100% consistent in “all” they say and do and “all” they don’t say and don’t do. Any inconsistencies, are proof of incorrect beliefs/definitions.

9.) Always apply logic, reason, and rational thinking: Pick an interpretation fully fitting with all logic, reason, and rational thinking.
(i.e., if the writer spent a whole chapter saying all gifts are equal and necessary, that none are greater than any others, … do not choose an interpretation for the very next verse that would command us to desire what God spent the previous 30 verses saying doesn’t exist, and that you can’t get, period, regardless of your desire. “Earnestly desire the greater gifts”, contradicts everything prior. Look for the “other” possible meaning. Note: There is one.

10.) Start with the Easiest/Clearest … data on the topic: Interpret the clearest, easiest understood, most straightforward data/passages first—then the more complex or difficult passages. The complex, convoluted, and difficult passages are easy to distort to fit beliefs.

11.) It ALL fits together: Pick a meaning for the parts that fully fit with the whole of the data that might pertain without adding meaning, subtracting meaning, or distorting anything to force it to comply with your beliefs. If everything gathered (#3 above) does not fully fit with everything in #4-10 above, you have the wrong meaning, and you are forcing the scriptures to fit what you want to believe “as” truth.

12.) Keep on continuously proving all things over and over again as a habit and way of life and never stop … and hold fast to what is good/true. Getting to truth is an ongoing process that never ends. One single verse, one fact you missed, one slight change in interpretation … can force a complete reevaluation and even a complete a change of beliefs. That is, if you love truth, and obey what God commands all His people to be continuously doing for and by themselves. If not …

13.) It’s all on You! Trusting others to get to truth “for” you, is like trusting others to have a relationship with your wife / husband / kids “for” you. It cannot be done. Your failure to keep on habitually doing as God commands all His people to keep on habitually doing, proves you have gathered enough using Methodology One to hold fast to what you want to believe and fall short of 2Th. 2:10-12

Understand, “Agreement with me might only make us both wrong.”

I get it. You "feel" guilty. Whatever is not from faith is sin, so study the heck out of the topic, but don't do what will merely verify whatever outcome you want to have so you can hold fast to "what you want to believe" "as" truth. Do what it takes to get TO the truth, regardless of the cost. And trust me, there will be a cost. Everyone in "Belief Groups" using that first methodology to hold fast to "what they want to believe" is not going to like you much. And they all do exactly the same things listed above to do so.

Finally, everyone is supposed to do the following. Judge every ministry by this standard. If they don't successfully do all 3 parts it is not a biblical ministry:

Mat 28:19 "Having gone, make disciples of all the nations, baptizing disciples in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching disciples to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

The last part REQUIERS us to teach people how to get to truth for and by themselves so that they can "Obey all that He has commanded". Otherwise we teach people to nullify the commandments of God to hold fast to the precepts of men.
