Without clicking the link friend, i think i grasp what your referring to. Who are these people kneeling to?......such is the state of this earthly world, only the power of Christ can change their hearts and mind. As Christians we should never give up on them, Christ and other Christians never gave up on us. The power of prayer is one method we must use.

Tim Tebow’s outward expressions of his evangelical Christian faith made him a polarizing figure during his college and professional football career.

You should have added a poll to this thread and asked people if they thought kneeling at professional sporting events was appropriate or inappropriate.

I disagree with kneeling at pro sports games. If you add up the total number of American soldiers killed in every war from the Revolutionary War to the War on Terror, the amount of deaths is in the millions. They all died for that flag. Why do these athletes feel the need to disrespect our troops' sacrifice over politics? That's being insensitive and rude.

Sorry. I don't believe in those CF polls. And I don't respond to them. It just encourages even more people not to read the article, but give a gut reaction to the POST title.

No tulc has nothing to do with that.
Have you explained that to him? Because he seems to think that's why he does it:
Kaepernick has said on numerous occasions that the sole purpose of kneeling during the national anthem is not to disrespect the military personnel at all, but rather that his goal is to use his social platform to bring topics regarding police brutality and oppression of people of color to light. "I am not going to get up to show pride in a country that oppresses black people and people of color."[24] Kaepernick has expressed his concerns about how his actions have been labeled as "anthem protest", since he considers this to be a diversion strategy from his critics to deviate the discussion from what really matters. "I am not protesting the anthem or the nation, I'm protesting organised brutality. To me, this is much bigger than football and it would be selfish to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder.”[25]platform to bring topics regarding police brutality and oppression of people of color to light.
