Also I like to ask that you note carefully that it actually says the kings of the earth, not that the world, America or Jerusalem was doing business with her. Kings represent rulers were. Precise words may not be important in some things, but in God's word "every jot and tittle" is inspired and important. It says the kings of the earth who have committed fornication with her. Not every one of the earth, but the kings of the earth. Keep that in mind! And we know who committed fornication with this woman, the Church! Yes, the church! More specifically it is those professed of the Church who seek to exalt themselves to take over as her husband and rule her "AS IF" they were God. The man of sin (The sinful man) taking a seat in the Holy Temple is the ruler committing fornication with this woman. Spiritual fornication of idolatry and rule.

Again, who does the book of Revelation define as the kings of the earth, and exactly what city can we say reigns over them? You won't have to go far to find the answer in Revelation. It's the Holy city Jerusalem of course. And look who brings their glory into her ....according to God's word.

Revelation 21:23-24
  • "And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
  • And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it."
Again, kings of the earth are defined here not as everyone who is unsaved, but the kings or rulers who come into the Church. It unambiguously tells you in plain language, the Kings of the earth who come into that Great and Holy City, Jerusalem. That is the Great City where the kings of the earth come into. And the kings of the earth are reigned over by "this" Great City Jerusalem. And they walk in the light of this Great City. And they are collectively this woman espoused to the Bridegroom, which is Christ. He rules over them. They are the nations saved by Him, and they bring their glory into this city.

And it goes without saying that the Church reigning on earth represents this great city, and as kings reign on the earth.

Psalms 48:1-2
  • "Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
  • Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King."
The city of our God is spiritual Jerusalem, whom the Church represents on earth. This city reigns over the kings of the earth because it is the city of the Great King. The merchants of the earth were made rich (Revelation 3:18) through the abundance of her delicacies (strength) because she was the covenanted congregation wherein was found salvation. The only "true" riches (Revelation 3:18) that count for anything was in this Great city. The Great City that Revelation says is then FALLEN, and judged of God, and that His people were to come out of her.

So yes, these kings of the earth lived deliciously or in strength with her, and Revelations 18 says after she is fallen they (these kings of the earth) stand far off from her and bewail and lament that a once great and rich city is come to nothing! They cry for her when they see the smoke of her burning. For example, the Church has fallen because of the spiritual fornication of her kings, and the voice of bridegroom (the word of Christ) will never be heard in this city again.

Revelation 18:23
  • "And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived."
The bridegroom is Christ. The Bride is True Elect. And because of this city's abominations, she is left desolate. Note, it is just as Christ said of physical city of Jerusalem representing the Old Testament congregation when it fell. They (the people of that congregation of God) never thought that it could happen. And yet it did. Therefore, today, the professed Christians of the Church think the same thing, scoffing at such a conclusion that their Church could fall.

...Thus saith the Preacher, There is nothing new under the sun.

So yes, it makes perfect sense as the fallen Church. And no sense at all as Rome, world, America, or the world system, or even physical city of Jersualem considering all that God has to say about everything, in context and time and judgment.

Something else about the Babylon harlot that my Christian brethren should be aware of for the end of this world...

Revelation 11:7 reveals that right after God's two witnesses in JERUSALEM have finished their 1260 days of prophesying against the beast, that the "...beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them...". Who might that beast be?

It will be the king over the bottomless pit:

Rev 9:11
11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.
KJV

That angel of the bottomless pit is Satan. Those titles are only 2 of his many titles in God's Word.

Rev 17:8
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

KJV

Rev 17:11
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
KJV

That is the same... beast of Rev.9 and Rev.11 that ascends out of the bottomless pit to kill God's two witnesses in Jerusalem at the end of this world. It is Satan, de facto, in person here upon this earth, in plain sight. He will be the coming Antichrist that will set himself up as God in a new Jewish temple built in Jerusalem for the very end of this world. He is a beast king, which is the subject of those kings above.

In Rev.12:7 forward we are shown Satan and his angels being kicked out of the heavenly down to this earth in OUR earthly dimension. It says there is no more place found in heaven for him when that war in heaven with Michael happens.

Rev 12:7-8
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

KJV

There are only 2 different dimensions of existence written of in God's Word. There is this earthly one we live in, and then the heavenly one where God and the angels dwell, including the holding place of the wicked called hell. Angels are able to go in either dimension as shown in God's Word. So when Satan and his angels are booted out of the heavenly, where else can they go? I'll let you brethren figure that out.

It is about JERUSALEM, on earth, as we were also shown in Revelation 11 regarding the beast king ascending out of the bottomless pit to kill God's two witnesses in Jerusalem...

You got wrong Jersusalem. You forgot that God has removed the kingdom representative from Old Testament Israel where Jews were the builders of that congregation. It has given to the New Testament congregation, the church.

Matthew 21:42-43 KJV
[42] Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?
[43] Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

What nation is this that receive the kingdom representation?

1 Peter 2:9-10 KJV
[9] But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
[10] Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

The New Testament Congregation of Israel, the Church is now a holy nation on this side of the Cross and guess, she is now Jerusalem! Not the one in the Middle Eastern country! Selah!

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
KJV

Notice in that time (for the end), Jerusalem is spiritually referred to as pagan Sodom and Egypt. Those names are put as descriptors for that future time when God's two witnesses will appear there at the end of this world, and prophesy against the one-world beast system and its beast king for 1260 days.

First, you got Two Witnesses wrong. They are not two individuals who will appear when your version of antichrist arrives. You got it all mess up. Two Witnesses started when they received power from God. Read carefully:

Revelation 11:3-4 KJV
[3] And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
[4] These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Acts 1:8 KJV
[8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

God saw his witnesses as "two witnesses" because the number two in Scripture represents truth. So his witnesses goes out into the world to prophesy truth with Gospel. This is where they went out to after Christ went back up into Heaven:

Revelation 12:5-6 KJV
[5] And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
[6] And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

The wilderness represents the WORLD (where no water was found) where God has prepared world where He will have His witnesses (Christians/church) to prophesy/witness and feed with gospel.

This has nothing to the physical city of Jerusalem!

First, I think you need to show us God's definition of the word, "beast" in Scripture.

The 1,260 days are not to be understood literally as most people do. It is symbolic days that represent the whole New Testament period until God finishes building his church with all people He intends to seal has been sealed, Revelation 7:1-4, BEFORE the beast can come out! Then the testimony of Two Witnesses for the purpose of salvation has ceased when they will be silenced (killed) by the beast.

If the Two Witness represents True Christians, then who is a beast that can wage war, overcome, and kill them. And with True Christians all over the world, where will they be killed at? Think carefully.

Revelation 18:04 [Come out of her my people] is the NT version of Jeremiah 51:6 [Flee out of the midst of Babylon]

If one looks at historic Old Testament Babylon as the pattern... God's people did not come out of Babylon until Babylon had fallen to God's anointed king, Cyrus [Isaiah 45:13, Isaiah 44:28, Isaiah 45] and Cyrus' Median/Persian army [Daniel 5:28 .]

Per Ezra 1, after Cyrus liberated God's people from Babylonian captivity, he decreed Israelites return to Jerusalem to rebuild the temple.

In the NT, God's people [who are God's living temple stones] leave Babylon for New Jerusalem.

As I posted here previously, the historical OT Cyrus is an archetype of Christ.

The link to the event of God having called Cyrus The Great to conquer Babylon and free the house of Judah that was captive there, is indeed a parallel pattern for Christ's future 2nd coming to end Satan's beast reign on earth at the end destroying Satan's coming one-world beast kingdom over all nations.

This is why Zechariah 14 reveals that when Jesus' feet touch down upon the Mount of Olives east of JERUSALEM, that area of the earth is going to be leveled and a great valley formed there, running east and west.

Something else especially Christian brethren in the nation of Israel should be aware of for the end.

In Mark 13, where Jesus was giving His Church seven main Signs of the very end of this world, He warned that some of us will be delivered up to give a Testimony for Him at the end, by The Holy Spirit. This Testimony He showed will be against the beast and his beast kingdom. Jesus said to not premeditate what you will say in that hour, but speak what The Holy Spirit gives you to speak, for it will be The Holy Spirit speaking through you.

Mark 13:9-13
9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them.

10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.
11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
13 And ye shall be hated of all men for My name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
KJV

This event is shown especially as an event for the end in JERUSALEM!

Rev 11:3-4
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

KJV

Rev 11:7-8
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

KJV

That is specific to TWO ACTUAL MEN IN JERUSALEM for the end that will prophesy against Satan and his beast one-world kingdom setup there. It is also about the Testimony many Christian brethren spread out over all the earth will give when delivered up to councils and the synagogues of Satan for refusing to take the mark of the beast. How do we know this? Simple...

At the end of Revelation 1, our Lord Jesus said that the seven candlesticks that John saw represent the seven Churches. Jesus gave each one of the seven Churches a Message, but He told only 5 out of the 7 to repent. The two Churches He had no rebuke for represent His elect that will not be deceived by the coming Antichrist-pseudoMessiah that is to be setup at JERUSALEM for the end. They represent the two candlesticks of Revelation 11:4.

So once again, these endtime events are about the city of JERUSALEM, not Rome, not the U.S., not the E.U., etc.

contrary to popular belief, Zecharich 14 is talking about the ministry of Christ prior to the cross when the Old Testament congregation fell making the way of remnants of Old Testament believers of Christ flee from old to New Testament congregation. From there christian start to go up to worship Christ in spirit and truth during the New Testament.

Sorry zecharish won’t fulfill as you wanted concerning physical city of Jerusalemm, prior to Christ’s second coming and your wishful thinking of literal 1,000 physical kingdom.

God's Kingdom on earth which lasts forever [Daniel 2:44] is physical... because God's children are created physical beings. After the dead in Christ are bodily resurrected and the living in Christ are changed into immortal bodies... they are perfected [with the laws of God in their minds and hearts]... but they are still created physical beings.
