Back when they legalized "gay marriage" I said this would happen. I said it would either be polygamy or pedophilia that would be coming next.

I am of the opinion that the only thing which has kept this from happening so far is the revulsion over Catholic priests having sex with boys. And that is so mostly because of plain old anti-Catholicism. (Men having sex with boys is seldom a huge media issue outside of the Catholic Church.) IMHO were it not for that, we would have had a Supreme Court decision by now legalizing and normalizing it. I think we are headed in that direction and that it will eventually happen. I don't see how to stop it at this point.

To be fair, there is a difference between pedophilia (which is a physical attraction to prepubescent children) and "minor-attracted persons" (which usually means an attraction to a post-pubescent-but-underage-teenager). However, as you know, the progressives adore having multiple definitions for one word or one term so that they can have cover while pursuing the most radical policy on the menu. So the distinction that I've seen and have articulated here could be totally illusory.

In an case, I will say that if the Republican Party throws the fight on "minor-attracted persons" like they did with the rest of the alphabet group's issues (and I predict they will) then actual pedophilia is probably the next stop on the sexual deviancy tour.

International Planned Parenthood has a document out there called "Exclaim! Young people's guide to Sexual Rights". Definitely tilling the soil for the age of consent laws to be challenged. In the PP document they never will put an age as to what they mean by a "young" person who has sexual rights. Instead they say this:

"‘Evolving capacity’ means that each young person gradually develops the ability to take full responsibility for their own actions and decisions. This happens at a different pace for different young people. At any given age, some young people will be more mature and experienced than others. Social inequities also influence young people’s capacities. Thus, striking the right balance between protection and autonomy is a complex process that requires looking at the individual capacity of each young person, rather than focusing on someone’s age.:"

In other words we can't put a specific age on when a child can consent because of the 'evolving capacity' of each individual child.

They also say this:

"There is a common assumption that young people are incapable of making decisions for themselves, so parents or other adults should have full authority over decisions related to their sexuality. Resistance to recognize young people’s sexuality and their decision making abilities makes the realization of young people’s sexual rights all the more challenging."

So, no age of consent, just a question of whether a child has "evolved" their capacity enough to make their own decisions. And if so, no adults should have any authority over decisions about sexuality because that violates their sexual rights. No longer in order to convict would it only be necessary to prove that sexual activity had occurred between an adult and a child. It would also be necessary to prove that the child's capacity to consent wasn't "evolved" enough. A pedophile's dream world.

And PP's dream world too because the more people out there having sex who are not prepared to deal with the consequences, the more dollars rolling in for abortion.

I think the bisexuals need their day first. And the result will be the legalization of all sorts of multiples. But then I agree with you that abusing children will be the next stop, but monogamy will be finished first. Not what I want, but I don't see it working out otherwise.

I've wondered about that. The L's and the G's don't really like the B's. Nobody's allowed to talk about that tho. But even the "B" designation is really problematic in today's world. Mark my words and read 'em back to me later but I think the B's will either change their letter or else they'll have to get kicked out of the alphabet network completely.

Maybe. I am totally amazed that the T-people have wreaked havoc on us for so long, so obviously I don't really have it figured out. In either scenario, yours or mine, it's not good.

I had a professor who leaned in this direction. It was really sick--I was so relieved when he asked me if I wanted to drop the class. The only class I ever dropped, but glad I did. He started out the class talking about the relations spoken of here, but in Vietnam. The class was supposed to be American History. Obviously, it had nothing to do with American History--I also noted that he pandered to the good looking guys in the class. It was just gross.
