I think the world has many years left. I don't think we are really as close to the end as some people think we are.

It's really hard to say ... we are to be always ready ;o) He WILL return ... the sooner the better as far as I am concerned ;o)

It's right around the corner. Not sure we will make it out of the 20's.

Almost all the signs of Matthew 24 have already happened.

Rev 14======>ends with End of world
Rev 16======>ends with End of world
Rev 17======>ends with End of world
Rev 18======>ends with End of world
Rev 19======>ends with End of world

Rev 14, 17 and 18 are all more than half way over.

When Rev 16 starts - it is too late
When Rev 19 starts - it is too late
In the middle of Rev 15 -- it is too late.

Rev 14 is the last warning message to the world (like Noah's msg) and it is already going out.

I think there's a good chance.

The rapture happens prior to the white horse....then the 7 years begins.

With this virus the New World Order scenario is not too far fetched.

.....then again there was 88 reasons in 1988 along with Harold Camping a few years later.

In the midst of struggles and storms. We are told to live like Jesus could return any moment. He will come in the twinkling of an eye. Through my studies we are closer than ever before.

People think they understand the Bible, but over and over people never really understood what God was saying. Mark of the beast is here(rfid chip) world government closer every day. Two beasts have been rising to power since before most of us were born.

So yes He could come any moment. Everyone needs to get ready. Eternity is one heartbeat away for sure.

Probably not, none of the major signs of the Book of Revelation happens yet, nor does it seem like they will happen anytime soon.

It would appear that your opinion is based upon a lack of information my brother. It is not our fault that Satan fights to keep the truth from us. It IS ALL ON US if we reject truth.

Where is the error in this?

We know from the scriptures that Jesus will return again. Although we will never know the exact timing, he taught us that we should always live our lives as if we were expecting his return to be imminent.

I can see why a lot of Christians are absorbed with eschatology. The world is a very troubled place and at times it does seem that things are getting worse.

It is believed that when Jesus returns, all of the world's problems will come to an end and that the true Christians will be taken away to a much better place. That may well be true, but the parable of the faithful servant in Matthew 25:23 also teaches us that as Christians we have a responsibility to take care of what has been entrusted to us. We are called to take care of the world in which we live. We are called to die to self and put others needs before our own. We are called to love and to serve and to remain faithful. For how long? The answer is for however long it takes.

In Christianity there are no easy soft options and no get out clauses. Until Jesus returns or calls us home, we should always follow His example: "He humbled himself, becoming obedient unto death, even to the death of the cross" (Philippians 2:8).

I am less concerned about the timing of Jesus' return than I am about how he will find me when he does return. My hope and prayer is that I will be one of those he will call "his good and faithful servant".

When we die that is it for us. No more chance to repent, no praising or rejecting Him. The next thing we see when our eyes are opened, is Jesus, the Judge of all mankind. So doesn't He Come when we die, Spiritually speaking?

When you die, does Jesus come or do you go?

1 Thess. 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

Ps. 6:4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake. 5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

Ecc. 9:4 For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion. 5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Is. 55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

There is no "seeking" the Lord in death. Once we die, our race that God set before us is over. WE "rest" in Hope of Salvation.

So then, when our death comes, that is the thief in the night that no one knows when will come. We have this life to "deny ourselves, pick up our cross, and follow Him". We have this life to "Repent".

1 Thess. 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

As Jesus said;

Matt. 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

End of what? End of our life!!!
