How long has he been getting his new meds ? It may take time for the level in his blood to get high enough for a good effect
He got the new ones yesterday. I know I’m being impatient but I can’t stand seeing him hurt.

not misty here - but definitely grey

Been carefully watching a rather scraggy fox on the joint runway for a while - couldn't get into my grade fortunately but didn't seem brave enough to run to the local park across the road. Not a clue how it would get out of my neighbours' garden - still it finally disappeared. We get quite a few urban foxes but they are usually seen wandering along the road - not usually seen in our gardens

Just called. They are squeezing him in between appointments. Around 11:30 am. I feel bad that I cannot go in with him. They are still under lockdown so I have to wait in the parking lot.

So we got home. The vet thinks he injured his neck somehow and pretty bad too. That is why he was twitching his head to the right. He thinks he has him on the right combo of meds but sometimes you have to add an opioid to it to make it work for certain dogs. He’ll remain on the bone med 1x a day. The nerve pain med 2x a day and an additional small amount of opioid 2 x a day for just enough for 3 or 4 days with the opioid. After that, he’ll continue with the bone and nerve meds until they are gone. Hoping this helps him heal. If not we’ll need a referral for MRI at Purdue and possible surgery. Which is hugely expensive. So please pray he heals and will not need that. That opioid has kicked in and he is resting now. Hopefully I can relax a bit too. He won’t let me out of his sight.
