30+ Bible verses, that either in isolation or in combination with other verses support universal salvation for non-believers to ponder and believers to enjoy, use and add to (I will then add them to the OP):


1. Luke 2:10
Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;

Oh come on now. Which scripture verse that you provided in your OP says that the unrepentant wicked after the second coming receive everlasting life? - Not one. Yet there is over 100+ scriptures that show that the unrepentant wicked are destroyed in the second death in the lake of fire after the second coming

What meaning can be attached to the words "burned up" if not utter consumption or destruction? It is almost unbelievable that men can read these statements, that He (God) will make an utter end and they shall be devoured as stubble fully dry," and clear finite usage of terms like 'destruction', 'death', 'destroy', 'cut off', 'burn up' and 'be no more' and still believe in a literal, endless hell or the wicked will still be living being prepared for everlasting life (Universalism). The above is an ongoing and unfinished work some of which has been picked up from other places and added to which is simply all God's Word not mine.

We can also add to the above the destruction of the the unrepentant wicked shown in the very words of JESUS *Luke 17:24-30 when he tells us what will happen to them at after the second coming and uses the examples of when the unrepentant wicked world was destroyed by a flood and Sodom and Gomorah by fire as examples of what will happen to the unrepentant wicked who receive the second death (not eternal life) in the lake of fire *Revelation 21:7-8 because they reject the free gift of God's dear son and count the blood of the covenant an unholy thing *Hebrews 10:26-31. See also 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Matthew 7:21; John 3:3-7; 1 John 3:6-10; John 3:3-7; 1 John 3:6-10; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9; Matthew 25:41-46; Revelation 21:7-8; John 3:36; Revelation 20:6; John 5:28-29. There are too many scriptures that disagree with the false teachings of Universalism. God's gift of salvation to mankind is conditional on believing and following Gods Word (scripture support here)

Uhh yes, pretty much all of them imply that they will receive eternal life in the end.

I wonder if you even read the OP.

Because here you go again copy & pasting (I figure) a huge post about destruction and the meaning of that. We all know the wicked will be destroyed. Both universalists and non-universalists. We differ in the outcome though, universalists-annihilitionists-infernalists. We have optimists, pessimists and cynics.
I feel that only the optimists don't deny the scriptures I posted. I genuinely want this thread to be about the (all) pro-universalism sciptures. If you want to add something to the thread, please give your interpretation of those verses.

Instead of posting a big number of destruction verses. We all know they're there.
If you want to make a counter-thread about your 100+ destruction verses, go right ahead.

We differ in the outcome though, universalists-annihilitionists-infernalists. We have optimists, pessimists and cynics.
I feel that only the optimists don't deny the scriptures I posted. I genuinely want this thread to be about the (all) pro-universalism sciptures. If you want to add something to the thread, please give your interpretation of those verses.

Instead of posting a big number of destruction verses. We all know they're there.
If you want to make a counter-thread about your 100+ destruction verses, go right ahead.

Your "implying" is reading into the scriptures what the scriptures do not say or teach.

Well thankyou for being honest Jord, that is correct. There is no scripture anywhere that says that the unrepentant wicked will receive eternal life. Yet there is over 100+ that specifically state that the unrepentant wicked will be destroyed and that this will happen after the second coming when they receive the second death in the lake of fire. No need to repost them again if you now agree as they have been posted in so many places so far in this section of the forum. Thanks for the discussion I guess I have said all I need to here for the time being.

Logical fallacy.Argument from silence. The Bible does not specifically state that flying pink spaghetti monsters do not exist. We can't assume that they do.

Hi.

Some of those verses hint at what you are arguing for; others do not. However, the verses that speak of some of us being lost are more numerous and unequivocal. That is a reality which is difficult to get around, which is why most Universalists just do not mention any of them when making their case. And, BTW, a person cannot really be a "Universalist" and contend that the unrighteous will be annihilated!
