I'd never heard of him before but his book on the Islamic antichrist seems interesting.

I would like to know more about his theology before delving into his claims for the future. Jesus taught that prophecy only becomes understood after God fulfills it. I see all who predict the details of prophecy before they happen as false prophets.

Can you show me the verse where Jesus states that no one can understand prophecy until after it is fulfilled?

I find him interesting and I have one of his books on the "Islamic Anti-Christ", but mostly know him from his videos. I tend to support his notions but don't know if it is a grand unifying theory or just that there is a significant Islamic component to the end times. I was more enthusiastic on the idea a year or two earlier, but their was some claims of Walid Shoebat, a person who partnered with Joel on at least one book, and has similar views, their are some things proven false that he said on the name of the beast (666 being the Islamic declaration in Arabic script, the one that you see on the banners of Jihadis etc.).

Joel's one big point that he makes is "That the Bible is near eastern book". Many approaches to Revelation and the end times, taken by end times/ Revelation enthusiasts don't seem to appreciate that idea. e.g.- By making events of prophesy about things going on outside of Israel and the middle east etc.

He thinks the Mahdi is the antichrist and Mecca is the city on seven hills. He and Bill Salus have debated Mecca vs Rome as Mystery Babylon.

Simalar book by Michael Youssef back in 2016

Joel Richardson is a wonderful Christian, likeable person. He is wrong about an Islamic antichrist though.

Prophecy is so we can look back in history and see God’s hand in bringing the-once obscure event to pass.

Jesus said; “I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe” (John 14:29). And again, “From henceforth I tell you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he” (John 13:19)

I don't need to see a prophecy fulfilled in order to believe in Christ.
If he tells me what is going to happen I know it will.

You must not have much faith that you have to see something happen before you would believe.

But you overstep your bounds when you fill in the details (that never happen BTW) and claim what is never going to be as true.

Prophecy, it’s not what most think.

So you believe that prophecy is to tell you what is in the past?
Like after you take the mark of the beast, it let's you know you just took it?

The funny thing is. I understood Trump would move the US embassy to Jerusalem by a prophecy. Even though you see it pass, I bet you still don't understand the prophecy.

Maybe you shouldn't know what is going to happen before it does but to other they can know.

Prophecy does not spell out the details. False prophets do. The mark of the beast has been here since the dark ages. But most cannot see it thinking it is still in the future. Antichrist has been here all along, but now in remission, soon to reappear.

Most prophecy is very detailed. That's how I knew Trump would become president before he was. Details.

If it's not written in scripture, it's false prophecy and luck. Prove it from scripture.

Yes I knew it from scripture. The word of God was right again. I don't know how many time I've seen the word prove itself true over and over again.
Like Trump moving the embassy to Jerusalem. I understood it about 20 years ago. But take Trump deviding the west bank. I knew he would acknowledge Jerusalem as Israel's capital. That was obvious but I didn't know what other property changes he would make such as the Golan Heights or the west bank.
But for the most part the prophecy is very detailed.
It's amazing to read about it then watch it happen.

Oh, you must not have been paying attention for the last few decades. Oh it started with the marine barracks being destroyed in Beirut. You would have needed to keep up with the entire prophecy to understand where Trump comes in. Oh Yea, this is not a short prophecy. It talks about both US/Iraq wars also. What have you been doing all this time?
