2. O.T. "purity" laws don't apply to Christians.

3. You obviously misunderstand the verse.

4. You're using an unreliable translation.

ESV: “No one born of a forbidden union may enter the assembly of the Lord. Even to the tenth generation, none of his descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord.

NIV: No one born of a forbidden marriage nor any of their descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord, not even in the tenth generation.

NRSV: Those born of an illicit union shall not be admitted to the assembly of the Lord. Even to the tenth generation, none of their descendants shall be admitted to the assembly of the Lord.

No hostility. Contrasting Law and Grace.
Can someone born of an illicit union be a Christian?
John 1:12, 13. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
