I'm curious as to whether people are noticing a great increase of people claiming to be having dreams about the rapture? If you type in Rapture Dreams on youtube you'll see a great many claims and their stories of dreams people feel God has given them of the event.
What do others here feel about this? What are the possibilities here? They'd have to be I'd say,
1) God actually did give them what they say.
2) The genuinely did have a dream about the rapture but could be just like many dreams we might have....not necessarily from God but just a dream l Or, 3....
3) They're just willingly making up a story to get hits on line and to tell a tall tale.
Here's the thing....I don't recall through the last number of years seeing near the many reports of such dreams at least on things like youtube. There's always been some but it really seems like an uptick in these claims. I recall back in the 1970's when the first rapture movie films were made...."Thief in the Night" and a few others as well.....people I knew started having rapture dreams of the Lord's return. From God? Or rather come about because of the subject and theme thy were mediating on. I will say from the people I knew their experiences really did highly motivate them to serve God and inspired them. The fear and concern was not to be left behind!
Having listened to a great many of the current rapture dreams being reported there's some I think are more than likely the person just had an ordinary dream but there's quite a few which I find quite startling, meaning I believe they probably have been from God. One thing that really stands out to me is they're describing a lot of them the rapture in a different way then you'd see in most rapture movie films. Great cataclysmic things like meteorites falling and a great earthquake at the very moment the event occurs. Not to get into actual theology here but their description to me seems to line up with Rev 6 & 7!
The common thread they all have in their stories is that Jesus (according to many of them) has said the he is coming back VERY SOON, and not just soon but LOOK....VERY, VERY SOON!
Funny thing is a lot of people having these aren't the great preachers of the day....but common ordinary folk.....which if their experiences are genuine would say God is wanting to use all members of his body that he wants to give multiple individuals things to share.
Now a lot of those giving testimony are relatively young in age. Could this be because young people are more technically savvy and know how to get a message out? As to whether all their dreams truly came by providence I can't say for a fact. They are however VERY inspirational and the passion by which they share is quite impressive. One in particular I believe it was a young lady was describing her rapture dream and her exhortations for all to wake up truly is moving for all to see. She spoke along the lines, "Look all the many things we worry and stress about on earth really mean nothing, NOTHING, NOTHING! When you see what takes place at the rapture THE ONLY THING, THE ONLY THING that will matter to you is your being in right relationship with Jesus!"
So ANY thoughts on these things? And has ANYBODY reading this ever had such an experience? Of course some things might have been just an ordinary dream of things but has anyone felt they experienced one truly from God? Most certainly if a dream goes way beyond and outside the word of God you set aside the dream as being non important but has anyone had something they thought was genuine? Like to read about it.
