I have repented of my known sins and am doing the best i can but still see His face scowlign at me angrily when i pray...i hear Him telling me am nto truly His child even though i have been saved, baptised, born of spirit and water and have a testimony of transformation and turning from sin....when will i be good enough? am not perfect but i am on the narrow road.....so why is He mad at me??? i dont get it.....

You (us) that is ..... within ourselves ... are not and never will be good enough. This is why Jesus died for us. Through Him only can one be reconciled back to God.

i hear Him telling me am nto truly His child even though i have been saved, baptised, born of spirit and water and have a testimony of transformation and turning from sin

These thoughts are not from God .... they are from the evil one. The evil one is always attacking our minds.

He loves you unconditionally and wants to help you turn from sin ... and will do that ... usually over time. He is faithful and will complete His work in you.

Phillippians 1:6

English Standard Version
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

We are going to mess up here and there ... but do not allow thoughts of condemnation to derail you or interfere in your relationship with the Lord.

John 3:17
New International Version
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

what you are experiencing is:

1st Peter 5

8Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.

Focus on Gods love, spend time with him daily by spending time studying His word, the more you focus on HIs love .... the less these intrusive thoughts will become.

What Does the Bible Say About Unconditional Love?

May the Lord bring peace to your mind and heart and may you rest in His love. Amen

I feel a bit selfish posting for myself but am struggling with the same old fear doubt unbelief suicidal thoughts and trauma. wanting to pray but struggling to get past the idea that God is displeased with me? it gets me down as am carrying a lot of pain from past exeperiences of abuse of all kinds, and it has affected my concept of God as the one who hurt me the worst was a christian parent. i forgive but need help with the fear. thanks for your prayers. bless you all.

Praying for you. I used to harbor a lot of hurt feelings and confusion about what was expected of myself and what to expect from our Heavenly Father. Pray to know Him better. I did this and I am blessed for it.

It's never selfish to ask for help, especially when you're feeling weak and need encouragement. God LOVES it when we come to Him, lay our head on His shoulder and ask Him for help. He is never a tyrant or a creeper. God is the kind of Father who ALWAYS protects, always is concerned, is always pure in heart.
When you have seen bad examples growing up, it can be difficult to comprehend a loving Father in heaven who is 100% FOR you and never has an ulterior motive. But the good news is that you CAN have your mind renewed by the Holy Spirit so that you can know God AS HE IS.
The place to start is the New Testament, especially the gospels. That is where you can study Jesus and see the deep love that He has for us. Jesus's disciples described God the Father this way: His only begotten Son, Jesus, came to the earth to SHOW us EXACTLY what God is like. So, when we want to know what God is like, we study Jesus.
When Stephen was being stoned to death for being a disciple of Christ, He saw Jesus at the right hand of the Father. And Jesus STOOD UP to honor Stephen. That's the kind of love that He has for every one of His children, including you.
God doesn't have favorites.
When Peter denied that he knew Jesus, what did Jesus do about it after He was raised from the dead again? Did he denounce Peter? Did He even scold him? No. He simply asked Peter if he loved Him. And He asked Peter to feed His sheep. In other words, He was never angry at Peter for his weakness. He helped Peter to get up and keep going.
That is how God feels about you too. He is your best coach, your best friend, loyal through eternity.
If He wants you to change something, He'll tell you. But even then, He does it gently, and it is dripping with love for you.
I will share with you what works for me when I feel down about myself or with life in general.
I worship God and tell Him I love Him, I proclaim all of His goodness (as I remember everything He has done in the world and in my own life and in the lives of others), I take inventory of things I enjoy in my life (even if it's as simple as a good breakfast or a favorite pen) and I thank God for them. It's important to meditate on whatever is good and right and let that feed your soul with joy.
It can help your brain and your spirit become renewed and refreshed. I will pray for you right now, dear one. You are loved!!!!

Don't listen to the lies of demons. God is never angry in some vague way where you feel condemned but you don't know why. That is a condemning demonic spirit and not God. God corrects and is clear about what needs to be changed and He always corrects His children lovingly. He is not moody. Humans are. God is consistent and, very importantly, He is FOR YOU! His heart radiates with love for you!

Jesus loves you so much that he gave his life for you.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that all who believe in him will not perish but have everlasting life
I pray that you will know for real, this promise from The Word of God.
