I have repented of my known sins and am doing the best i can but still see His face scowlign at me angrily when i pray...i hear Him telling me am nto truly His child even though i have been saved, baptised, born of spirit and water and have a testimony of transformation and turning from sin....when will i be good enough? am not perfect but i am on the narrow road.....so why is He mad at me??? i dont get it.....
You (us) that is ..... within ourselves ... are not and never will be good enough. This is why Jesus died for us. Through Him only can one be reconciled back to God.
i hear Him telling me am nto truly His child even though i have been saved, baptised, born of spirit and water and have a testimony of transformation and turning from sin
These thoughts are not from God .... they are from the evil one. The evil one is always attacking our minds.
He loves you unconditionally and wants to help you turn from sin ... and will do that ... usually over time. He is faithful and will complete His work in you.
Phillippians 1:6
English Standard Version
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
We are going to mess up here and there ... but do not allow thoughts of condemnation to derail you or interfere in your relationship with the Lord.
John 3:17
New International Version
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
what you are experiencing is:
1st Peter 5
8Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9Resist him, standing firm in your faith and in the knowledge that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering.
Focus on Gods love, spend time with him daily by spending time studying His word, the more you focus on HIs love .... the less these intrusive thoughts will become.
What Does the Bible Say About Unconditional Love?
May the Lord bring peace to your mind and heart and may you rest in His love. Amen
