Deuteronomy 22:
6 If a bird’s nest happens to be before you along the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, with the mother sitting on the young or on the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young;
7 you shall surely let the mother go, and take the young for yourself, that it may be well with you and that you may prolong your days.
These two verses are not enough to get you a degree in wildlife management.
A job interview in such a career would not go well simply by saying "I know what
to do if I find a bird's nest on the ground".
What is revealed to us is the Father's heart pertaining such things.
This is why The Law is spoken of as our wisdom, as we come to know our Father better.
It is not necessarily an exhaustive knowledge on every topic.
A young person can pursue a career in wildlife management knowing their heavenly Father
approves of such concerns. They will need more knowledge.
On the other hand, if you were walking through a park and saw a turtle in distress, you would not say 'the Torah didn't say anything about turtles. You either feel compassion and a desire to help, or not. A wicked person might do something cruel to the animal.
The Law will convict them.
How has the Word of God, or the Spirit of the Lord directed you to act in a way to please the Father and do His Will without a commandment or statute?
Is this not the Law written on our heart?
