He heard you the first time. Just live your life. If God decides to give you such a vision, he will make it happen. Expect a thorn (2 Corinthians 12:7-9) if he does. You probably don't want that thorn. If you get the vision, it's a win. If you avoid the thorn, it's a win. Whether he gives you a "yes" or a "no," it's a win.

Obsess with seeking the Giver more than the gifts.

Well I can tell you about my experience but as Sketcher has stated I did receive a thorn and is not good. The more revelation that is given to you, the more God expects from you. I am thankful for my spiritual experiences, but at the same time I would not wish my thorn upon another.

You'd better be prepared to pay the price. It's not cheap.

Spurgeon wrote concerning 2 Corinthians:

I pray that you receive the desires of your heart and that God first pours out his wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in your heart. I also pray for revival in your personal life and that you do experience miraculous visions and that you use the Lord's gifts as you run the race to spread the Word of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

It is not possible without eternal body to visit eternal dimension. And God will not give you eternal body just for the trip and then take it back.

Have you ever sung the hymn, " I asked the Lord that I might grow" by John Newton?
Look it up and read the lyrics.

The hymn is about his asking God for special favour and God answered him, but not as he expected.

By all means keep on praying, but God will not answer your prayer in the way you expect.

He isn't interested in giving us cheap thrills. He wants mature worries who will trust him absolutely and his experiences are aimed at doing that.
Reducing one to total dependence on him.

Pray on if that is your intentions.

I would not obsess about this. If God wants to show you this realm, He certainly can. Unfortunately, the devil can counterfeit this experience. Some call it astral projection.
