This rally will new the largest inside gathering in the entire world since the pandemic was declared. There is no better way to spread the virus that having 19,000 shouting people confined for several hours. This does not count those that will infected while on line or outside the hall. After all, many will not be able to get in.

Tens of thousands will gather. Many will be infected. And then, they will go home to their homes, work and community. Of course, it is unlikely that they will observe distance and mask guidelines when they go home after the rally.
======
What I truly wonder is how many attending understand the great sacrifice that they are making, of their own health (and lives) and those of their families and friends.
========
As an aside, it would hard to choose a place more dangerous to hold the rally, other than the inside of nursing home or prison. Oklahoma and Tulsa are setting records. They are in the middle of the first wave of the epidemic (well, hopefully. They may not yet hit their peak).

More people will get coronavirus from the BLM protests/riots than the Trump rally. Funny how the liberal media doesn’t mention the spread of covid-19 where the BLM supporters and anarchists are protesting and rioting, but they’re quick to condemn conservatives for doing that at a Trump rally. What a world.

Only because police forced people into tight quarters.

Even then it just might turn out that people who just might go unmasked indoors in support of Their Leader manage to spread it much more effectively. And of course many will then take their gift from Trump home.

Only God knows the answer to the question. Assuming that most of the attendees will be middle aged, probably not too many will die directly from the rally. However, some of them will spread the virus to parents or grandparents and that will be a more difficult scenario.

Practice social distancing for the good of everyone unless your a protester or going to a political rally. We can't work or goto school but protesting and political rally are ok.

Unbelievable, oh yea I as a human being really matter to everyone. Give me a break, this has to be the biggest hogwash since they said cigarettes are not addictive.

Without any political bias taken into consideration, the protests and the riots would be just as bad of a breeding ground for the numerous new coronavirus cases as the Rally would be.

You don’t know that.

The possibility of the protests causing a spike in cases has come up quite often.

Uh, no. The rally is indoors so any virus is stuck indoors. Few masks and absolutely no social distancing. That makes the Trump rally a far better breeding ground.

And even if the outside demonstrations did cause infections in large numbers, is that a reason to purposely infect thousands of people in a closed venue (the attendees and their contract trees over the next couple of weeks)?

That evil wishing on your part. I hope the COVID-19 doesn't spread on either side. It's time to grow up. And become a good person or Christian. Your wishful thinking is evil. And of course black live should matter. Even though, they never have before.

looks like it is only a problem if it has anything to do with Trump

No problem at all...as I’ve said elsewhere, pack ‘em in...!
They are capable of evaluating the risk they are taking, adults do not need the liberals to be their parents and tell them where they can go and when they can go there.

So Trump supporters are justifying his decision making by what protesters are doing?

Isn’t that what parents say to their children when questioning them about making bad decisions?
Asking them, “If your friends jumped off a cliff would you?”

The virus does not discriminate.

Of course it does. The specter of this virus has a narrative to fulfill... dose it not? We 'need' mail in voting to keep people 'safe'. Can't have Trump on the campaign trail gathering millions at his political rallies nether... now can we? Almost as if it is a massive attempt at election melding; utilizing the fear of what could be to keep voters from turning out.

Pack ‘em in...! Shoulder to shoulder! Shout loudly, share saliva...! Should be just fine by November....

If I put my scientific hat on, then the Tulsa rally is one grand experiment in COVID. If the infections are low, that is great. If the infections are high, the positive thing is that we can learn from it and cancel such future events. I think the world is watching this experiment. I once attended a rally for President Reagan. The yelling was louder and more sustained than any sporting event I have ever attended. Those are prime conditions for COVID. At a minimum they could have held it outdoors. I worry too about the influx of provocateurs. I do hope law and order can be maintained but if you have ever been to a major political event, these can spin out of control. Combine this with the protests and it could be a powder keg. On Tulsa's side is the huge number of Christians there. Will be interesting to see the spiritual forces at work on both sides. We should all pray for peace in Tulsa.

Not all demonstrators were close to each other. One media footage showed people at a social distance and even cars in with the people who were on foot.

I consider that people stayed in cars so they would be safe.

And if you are outside, the air can not build up virus like it can where you are breathing together with someone else in a closed space.

And we will see how many people choose to come to the indoor rally. Now this has been made an issue. I don't believe Donald can make their choices.

But the demonstrators for George Floyd were in some number ok with being near each other; so I can see ones penchant for Donald could be willing to play sardines.

And this, for all I know, could be about getting attention.

In any case . . . yet again, he is getting attention, whether a lot of sardines show up or not. I keep considering how simply getting attention can help a candidate to win.
